this guy moved an entire generation into loving electronic music when it even wasn't a thing... and his tracks are aging like fine wine!

his style was nique but i hate to break it to ya. electronic type trance and dance music has been wildly popular since its inception. people love the beeps and boops

what do you even mean "when it even wasnt a thing"? techno, dnb, ambient, and idm was much more of a special thing in the 90s than it is now. And it was BIGGER

Gosh, sometimes I think I'm replying to bots, but let me take the bait.. "Wasn't even a thing", I mean that electronic music that Warp brought to the world (founded by the artist above) not techno, not dnb, not garage... that in the 90's were raging.. I very possibly raved with the guy theree then, and I can assure you the music in vouge was totally different then what he came out producing over the years.. he still producing and proper bangers! His style will never be challenged, only copied. Have some proper aphex acid and shut up

Aphex in many ways revolutionized electronic music and brought it to the next level. Even now he is unsurpassed basically. i even remember when i heard a track for the first time on a club music radio station in 95 or so, was blown away. But that he popularized electronic music back at the time if this album is absolute nonsense.

Yes they were! Also, electronics were a thing in classical music since at least the 1950s!

One of the most unsettling album covers I ever saw growing up. It scared me as a kid the same way Prodigy’s “Music for the Jilted Generation” did!
