Fantastic Video ! This series is super helpful for the NiFi Community and am looking forward to "What's new in 1.12" video - especially around the new ability to batch Flowfiles...

Glad it was helpful! I do think it's a great idea to do a video around the batch processing capabilities introduced in 1.12. And all the other new features!

Great follow up video! Would love to see how you go about performance tuning a dataflow and what properties to investigate when tuning a cluster.

Great suggestion! I plan to create another 1 or 2 videos to finish out this series on anti-patterns. Then there are a few other ideas that I have for additional videos/series. Will add this to the list.

I would like to greatly request additional visual tools, such as both a bring to front and send to back. As well as a way to lock the position of things from accidental dragging, especially for labels when you have multiple labels overlapping for visual grouping. Line thickness, color, opacity, would be extremely useful as well. Perhaps something like "align selected vertically" for when you have several processors stacked, and it could align them all on the Y axis. Is there a place in which I can formally make these requests?

Hi Mark, How can I have High availability of nifi cluster? Should I need to do federation on top or is there any out of the box solution? saw this doc cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NIFI/High+Availability+Processing#:~:text=Currently%2C%20the%20NiFi%20Cluster%20Manager%20does%20not%20provide%20High%20Availability.&text=Unfortunately%2C%20since%20the%20Cluster%20Manager,the%20work%20of%20another%20node. but very old.

Is it possible to auto layout large number of data flows at once?
@shekabhivlog3998

so we arranged the flow. what is anti-pattern here?
@nifinotes5127

The anti-pattern is the lack of organization. Flow moving in every direction. This results in flows that are very difficult to understand, update, and maintain.

Hello Mark, Great Videos ! Do you have any good practices for multiple people editing flows on a NiFi Cluster ? We used to have people creating their own process group. AB

Thanks! Typically what we see is developers create flows on separate machines or a dev cluster where it’s not a huge deal if you step on each other, then use NiFi Registry to share those flows with the prod environment.

There's only one correct layout & that's the special planar graph we call DRAKON

A few people have asked for the templates of these flows. There's a gist containing both at gist.github.com/nifinotes/8693ecce9d94870553c9a8d8e9dcd4dd
