Nice guide! Thanks! You said that getting data thru the needs just writing "s" in the link. I've tried using https link, but this does not work. I figured that SSL Context Service must be set up first. Can you, please, make short video on SSL Context Service for NiFi to use https links?

Hi Steven, I have tried to integrate Veeva vault to Apache Nifi with InvokeHTTP Processor. To fetch the session id, what are the parameters have to use?

Hi Steven, I just installed nifi and started to follow this video. When I go to the list queue and tried and view content. The "original" and "formatted" do not contain any data and it says "No viewer is registered for this content type." I also cannot change the content type to json.

Nice video… i see you talking about dynamically changing access_key from an upstream flow. I’m just starting. Was wanting to do something like that I believe. I want to add an attribute based on the flowfile content. I get a response from a DB with columns I want to use in API calls. maybe airports is part of response and I have a row as a flowfile. Is there a simple way to pass attributes from flowfiles? could I add a property to ExecuteSQL that reads a column value? Do I need to add another processor like updateAttribute? Do you have any videos covering something like this? Thank you 🙏 *Edit: Was able to get what I needed with ConvertAvroToJSON and then EvaluateJsonPath

Very helpful! Thinking about how to augment this flow to incorporate re-generation of APIKey. So when the InvokeHTTP fails because of expired APIKey how does one know that the failure is due to the APIKey and the flow needs to be regenerate it?

I have a separate flow setup for doing just that. I use an api that requires me to pass the token to it. Since I know that the token is good for 90 minutes when it's issued. I just have a separate flow that will request a new token every 80 minutes and update the old one that I use.

Thank you Tamir Basin, In this first video I show to to use two different ways to write generic data into a database that could be applied to the aviation flow if you would like. In the second video I write the data to elasticsearch. If these don't help let me know and I can look and creating some other video's to help out. video 1: kzitem.info/news/bejne/mo5uqn59kX-jlGk video 2: kzitem.info/news/bejne/mXyDlnhngaKGgKg

When a flowfile is generated by the InvokeHTTP processor it will created new attributes on the output flowfile. One of them is called "invokehttp.request.url" which is the url you used.

Hello, I have installed Nifi in a couple of different ways in the past. In my workplace I currently have Nifi installed in a OpenStack environment on a centos vm. I have also used it in a docker container as well. In the video's I'm making right now the installation for Nifi I'm using is the docker container. I have also seen people use Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service to run their Nifi container and created scripts to start more Nifi containers based on loads in Nifi.

@@StevenKoon Hi Steven. I have a question here. To Spawn anything on containers it should be stateless right, but in case of apache nifi we maintain state via zookeeper how does that work with container. We have zookeeper connection string part of all the nifi running clusters , how easy to spawn new cluster when some existing zookeeper goes down?

thank you for sharing this guide Steven! how do you go about in using the invokeHTTP processor multiple times where the API parameter will have different value for each run - a good example is that I notice in the avaiationstack API documentation there is an "offset" parameter I assumed it is used to fetch data in batch. thanks in advance!
