It is must for kids to have outdoor activity in sun for atleast 1 to 1.5 hours in a day. Sunlight is helpful in good distance eyesight and overall body health

Green leafy vegetables, Citrus Foods , Dry Fruits , Eggs , Mustard and Flax seeds , Vitamin A rich Foods like Carrot and sweet potato are essential

5. Tips for General Care and Eye Checkup
Avoid Hard and Sharp pointed things in kids.
Rubbing of eyes can cause infections and change in eye shape
Avoid Kajal , Surma and Eye makeup like Eyeliner and Muskara in kids. If you use it occasionally , clean it properly from Eyes
Ideal Sleep Hours for Kids are as belows
- 3 to 5 Years Kids - 10 to 13 Hours of Sleep
- 6 to 12 Years Kids - 9 to 12 Hours of Sleep
- 13 to 18 Years Kids - 8 to 10 Hours of Sleep
If you kids are not writing properly in school , not able to see blackboard clearly , watching tv and books from near or doing Headache , eyeache complain , then must do kids eyecheckup
In normal cases , kids eyesight must be checked once in a year and In Hereditary Cases, Kids Eyesight must be checked two times in a year
In case of Premature Baby Born and kept in Incubator , must have eye's retina checked for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)

As per your Optometrist or Ophthalmologist advise , kids can do Vision Therapy, Pencil Pushup or Convergence Exercises for Vision improvement
