Right but there’s other people who earn more then minimum wage in ES. We can’t just compare to the lowest wage. That’s just like any other country. Here where I live the average rent is $1700-2000 per month in the city. Min wage is $1500 after taxes deducted. It impossible anywhere if you look at it that way.

If you live in a place that is called "Residencial" or private place, the rent will be really high, even you have to pay for the security, electricity and water. However, if you decide to live in a home that is the urban area, it will be a bit less. Also, there are places that are really safe not matter if you are not paying security, but it's up to you. It will depend on your incomes as well. Wish you a great experience if you want to move to my EL SALVADOR

🤔🤔🤔Ask yourself how you, who lives in a tiny itty bitty apartment smaller than what the locals have, get stuck with an electric bill about as much as locals earn in a month and those same locals probably use at least as much electricity as you. At the very least they don't live in darkness and cannot contribute 25% of income to lights even if they paid far less than you. I'm sure your meter runs quite similarly to locals and they charged you $150 because they could get away with it. And if they got you on electricity they most certainly got you on rent. Definitely by hundreds. Maybe it went to a good cause but it probably didn't 💰💰💰😎😎
