Never really understood the perk of living in a gaming house with the rest of the team. It's not a sustainable lifestyle. You can't have a family and have esports as a career.

I think you answered your own question. Whilst you have esports as a career at the very top level it's likely you wouldn't be looking at having a family at the same time and so living with other athletes is probably going to make sense.

@@apexracingteamesports Maybe, but esports is unique in this sense. Other athletes in other sports can train/perform and still have a family and their own place to live. It's an interesting development for this sport compared to others. I feel like when team houses were first becoming a thing it was out of necessity as the salaries weren't there for the players, and or job security was very fickle. Either way, it was just an observation and not a negative comment to take away from the success of ART. :)

Well, if you would have asked 17 year old version of me, then I'd surely go for it, at least a few years. I don't think anyone there is going to be doing the same shit until the age of 70. So if you Really want a family (far from everyone do), then there is time for that as well.
