You had that wind shield upside down. Those aren't feet. They are to push the pin into the ground to help stabilize it. If you look at the design, it can push an inch or more of pin into the ground.

I don't know if anybody is going to answer my question, being this video is 4 years old. I have a primus omnifuel with old type of aluminum pump. This one looks like the newer type Ergo pump. My question: Can you change the o ring at the output of the pump where you screw in the valve of the stove? I believe Chinese rubbers are terrible and will go bad very soon. The o ring of the primus pump died after 1617 years and it is not serviceable. It costs too much to replace the pump. I can buy 2 chinese stove for that price. But I love the way my primus primes, so I will just use the pump, and keep the stove as spare. But if the o ring at the output of the pump is not serviceable, that changes everything.

This is an excellent question and it's one of them that I wonder myself. I believe that that O-ring can be changed mine is still doing great so I'm not in need of replacement yet I agree with you about these stoves their fantastic

I would put all those tiny and critical pieces in a screw-top plastic container (no blinking pouch/bag). Losing any small piece is a head-banging event afterward when you really need it - and can't find it. I hope that the person going out, does all the prep at home, and not in the wilderness (all those tiny springs, pins, needles, - boing! ...) especially with cold/wet hands, in the dark, in snow, duff, debris, ...

brianj123458 I would highly recommend the MSR whisperlite Universal. it's an excellent stove by far one of my favorites and it will burn many fuels including gasoline white gas diesel fuel kerosene and even jet fuel. you can also adapt the stove to run the Lindale valve isopro butane canisters. it's a great stove you will not be disappointed in my opinion
