Pikke, a local cuisine originally prepared by the Apatani tribe of Arunachal Pradesh since ages, has now become quite popular among other tribes too.
This is a versatile dish which can be prepared from a variety of locally available vegetables, fresh/fermented bamboo shoot, smoked meat and many more.
In this video, I am sharing such a recipe of Pikke using cooked rice and Asian chives as the primary ingredients.
