Aguante Apocalyptica!!

I can relate. The first time I heard it was at the show last Sunday night,9/25/22. Was not only beautiful, but by the end of the song, tears were flowing and rolling down my face. Nothing like the power of music. I'm glad I captured that song with the others I did to upload here.

I don't kno' wat' it is about this song, but I get so emotional every single time I hear it! When I saw Apocalyptica play in Toronto in 2015, I bawled my head off when I heard Farewell 'live'..... I felt the passion, the love, the magic..... Paavo saw me with tears streaming down my face & gave me the set-list after the show! I will always be grateful to him & Apocalyptica for sharing the beauty of their music with us, the fans!

I found this song shortly after my uncle passed away at the age of 45. I cried many times listening to this song. It kind of helped me to overcome my grief. Now when I listen to this masterpiece I'm fascinated how beautiful this composion is. May be my uncle would have liked this. He was a Metallica fan and Apocalyptica make Metallica covers.

No matter how painful a farewell is, it always hurt. The darkness won’t last forever, but the farewell stays with you for just as long. The farewell marks the end of that particular journey, and no matter the cost or the guilt - its one thatll stay fotever If the song could speak my pain, this would be that song.

Pure talent, beauty and perfection. This song touchs our souls, this is a kind of art that last forever. Too bad here in Brazil we dont have that kind of band or artists, few people here can even enjoy and understand its beauty. Our brazilian music and artist are dead, we only have shit like funk.

I started playing cello as a hobbyist thanks to Apocalyptica, around a year and a half ago. So I tried to play this song around a couple of months ago, despite it's very slow, you make use of practically the entire range of this instrument. I am having problems with the highest notes due to the quality of the strings, I would try better strings soon :)
