Weaponized Religion: From Christian Identity to the NAR:

Modern Apostolic Networks, one of the most powerful aspects of the NAR, are viewed by many critics of the movement as particularly troubling. Networks of ministries led by apostles and prophets, who claim to receive extra-biblical revelations from God for new doctrines, began to intersect. Each intersection point spawned a new NAR network to further develop and add to those doctrines. By January 1997, groups focused on the concept of "spiritual warfare" had grown so large that they were reorganized as the United States Spiritual Warfare Prayer Network (USSPN). Within just five years, the USSPN had organized fourteen "task forces" and appointed coordinators for each of the fifty states in the US.
