but not more than 10 minutes going back me and Mario ran into Jimmy dean. I was actually caring Mario and he was looking at me and he was very concerned about the dog. I told him that on the rocky sections I sometimes carry Mario and put them in my backpack. and that's where our conversation started
he told me right away that he was having a little bit of a rough day because he was in the Marines and he remembers the urine chart. I know that was a strange thing to talk about but he was telling me that his was Brown today.😬
also being a nurse I knew that that wasn't a good sign. he said he hadn't drink enough water and it looked like he was trying to put on a lot of miles today. and here I was, yep here I was right in the middle of his journey
he told me he was hiking for Wounded Warrior, and he also had a KZitem channel. I thought it was a really worthy cause because he said, "You know our vets are often forgotten and especially in the most recent Wars." he shared things about the military that he was trying to kind of detox from. and he mentioned you know everybody thinks that we're all strong and tough because we're in the military. but not necessarily so
he said he was on a spiritual journey to get back to, I guess, probably the basics of who he used to be or who he wanted to be. it sounds like when he went into the military he found religion he found faith but being in the military probably wasn't the best place because he said he was over the top and that wasn't a good place to be. you know it's all about finding kind of our groove. so we talked about that. I told him I was very zealous for the Lord, but I remember when I first started walking this walk. Yeah, I was a little bit extreme. but by the power of the Holy Spirit, we learn how to not walk in our flesh, and we allow the spirit to do the work and not us. so he had to figure that out, too
and any sense I was trying to get a picture of him and the camera was rolling and I got a little bit of footage of our conversation and I'm glad I did because sometimes capturing what people say can be difficult in me just repeating it. Jimmy was a really thoughtful, mindful guy, and I appreciated his sharing with me and also recognizing that this wasn't by accident. at the end of our conversation, he knew that this was God trying to tell him to slow down. and me through the Holy Spirit was there to tell him don't forget your mission
Jimmy said he had a KZitem channel, but I have not been able to find it. If anybody finds it, please let me know because there is a link for the Wounded Warrior, or you can donate to his cause
👉👉👉All around us souls are perishing in their sins. But how few are really burdened over the matter. The world is perishing in its misery; but this hardly moves even those who claim to believe the highest and most far-reaching truth ever given to mortals. There is a lack of that love which led Christ to leave his heavenly home, and take man's nature, that humanity might touch humanity, and draw humanity to divinity. There is a stupor, a paralysis, upon the people of God, which keeps them from understanding what is needed for this time.
🙌🙌🙌God calls for men to give the message of warning to the world that is asleep, dead in trespasses and sins. He calls for free-will offerings from those whose hearts are in the work, who have a burden for souls, that they shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Satan is playing the game of life for the souls of men. He is seeking to secure means, that he may bind it up, so that it shall not be used to advance the missionary enterprises. Shall we be ignorant of his devices? Shall we allow him to stupefy our senses, so that we shall not discern the needs of this time?
