Thanks for the video, Eric. I experimented briefly with Apple Classical, but ended up sticking with Idagio. The primary reason: I have a large library of purchased music I've collected over the years in the Mac Music app (formerly iTunes), and subscribing to Apple Music / Apple Classical messed up the metadata in it (switching composers' names around, etc.). It took me a while to figure out how to stop that and to set things back right. Idagio isn’t perfect either (playlist managment being my main complaint), but I prefer it for now. I’ll be interested on seeing your thoughts on how the two compare.

Nice video Eric! Your videos on Apple Music Classical are amongst the best. Very thorough! As expected of a classically trained professional violinist. A lot of records are absent in Apple Music Classical which were available in the earlier Primephonic. For example ‘Zubin Mehta conducts Mozart’ from Eloquence Classics label, etc. absolutely love your channel. Great work!

"NO!" ☠Been there. I was also disappointed with the Carplay integration. I did another trial of apple music, just for classical .. . but in the car, I'm back to using spotify, which I was hoping to be able to cancel. Spotify still gets it right more often with the voice prompts than asking Apple music for me.

Probably because Spotify is a music first platform while Apple is a hardware first company.
