If my husband moved his sister into our home, I would be gone so fast he'd vomit from vertigo. (Can't stand that woman, she's tried getting as many of my sentimental items from my dead parents that she can carry. He caught her and we moved without telling her where we went.) She's mental.

What about husband and wife being equals?
@kathleenmayhorne3183
Жыл бұрын
@@sourisvoleur4854 you are right, a lot of people today seem to take the concepts that tell them what they want to hear, without having the full understanding of the rest of the concept from the time. The man of the house idea, without the "yes dear" bit, is very one-sided. That takes away the woman's right to self expression, and right to choose for herself, whether she will agree on this current issue or not. This is very destructive, the true man of the house, looks for ways to benefit his wife and family, is protective and thoughtful. He also asks his wife for her opinion, and from there makes decisions for the family, taking her feelings into consideration. Without a final authority figure, people can just keep arguing back and forth, without ever coming to any agreement, thus things are left, not done. It is better at times to agree to disagree, then decide something, which both can agree on. Nobody ends up happy, if we never get past arguing. The "you are emotional," put-down is also wrong, we are entitled to have each his/her own feelings. Like grief, it can take time to work through them, some are so strong they will never change. Seeling things through legitimate emotions, can help us not to make detrimental choices. Fathers may not appreciate their child's needs to the same level as the mother, she may help him to see how not to destroy his bond with the child, through making unnecessarily harsh decisions, and he may help her in the same way, through being more practical. Having said that not all folks fit stereotypes, so we need to learn to communicate better, and look for the good in others, not expect them to understand our viewpoint without explanation. Tell 'em, then let 'em think, and choose for themselves. Parents get to choose for their little kids, older kids get some choices, and adults have the right to choose for themselves. Adults who never get that, cause so much misery.

Not knowing that Natalie owned the house doesn't mean Alice could act so badly, not do any cleaning, eat anything she sees and take money from Natalie's wallet. Max was basically stealing Natalie's money from the joint household account and savings for his sister too. Selling the house was the best way to get rid of those two.

Alice: "nobody told me the lectures were mandatory" uhm, has she ever heard of the syllabus that she got at the beginning of the year? The professor would have even told them that it was mandatory. Hell I only went to College for 1 semester and even I know that. And if she was getting the notes from her "friends" I guess they weren't really friends if they didn't help her put by reminding her that she actually had to have her butt in the seat huh.

It doesn't matter if you are graduate from famous college or community college. Once you go out and make your own living, that's when the reality hit you so hard. It's annoying when some entitled people say something like "I'm graduating from this college." "I'm much better option since I went this college." I'm like dude, even if you went to best college but if you lack of skills that necessary for company that going to hire you it's no use. You want to work at electronic company but you don't have skill of programming. You want to hired as design company but you lack creativity and artwork skills. You want to work at finance company but you have zero skills in calculating. Everything is about training and experience.

Both of which were awesome, btw!

Story 1: For some reason I find it interesting that Derrick was interested in taking OP's job & knew what it was already cause it feels like many of these stories about coworkers being terrible have the antagonist think they're higher up than OP until it's too late. Sure there are some were they acknowledge OP is their superior & this guy still didn't fully know OP's place in the company but still most of these have the plot twist of OP being important. Story 2: Max is a terrible & lazy person, he & his sister are lucky they aren't being forced to pay for the debt their parents are in for wasting time sending them to pricey schools. Alice is just as bad, she keeps saying "I didn't know" & "I wouldn't have done this if I had known" I don't understand shit a lot but at least I know not to fucking skip classes all the time. Of course they're all MANDATORY you idiot. I know Alice mentioned her brother blames her but I hope Alice throws it back in his face that he's also at fault & for much more than her. Looks like the both are too busy working to do much else now.

These men with the mindset of "We are married, what's yours is mine! So this property is mine!" are all pathetic. We are not living in the 40's or 50's or anytime in the past when anything belonging to a woman automatically became the husband's upon marriage. The world had evolved since then. So just because your married unless your name is on the property it does not in fact automatically become yours. Even Queen Elizabeth eventually realized that and changed the law so that if in the future a girl is born first she will get the throne not be passed to a younger brother.
