I used this video to set up my first Apple Watch that my husband bought me for Christmas and I was very happy with it. He bought me the navy blue, my favorite color but, I decided to exchanged it for the starlight color and long story short my husband decided he wanted a Apple Watch too and now I’m so confused with how HE set up my new watch. I want to start over like I did from the beginning with this video as my guide setting it up. I was so happy with my first set up but this one when he set up my new one not so much. He’s decided he wanted a Apple Watch and he’s trying to figure out how to get cellular working outside of his work phone. It’s been a challenge but we are working on it.

You did a pretty good job presenting many of the features of the Apple Watch 7. My only issue really is that you used the word "basically" way too often. It became very distracting.

About to buy my first Apple 7. Never used one before. Your tutorial is excellent, it has definitely convinced me to purchase one. As l am getting older, l really like the Health Monitoring Apps, and the fall detection. I am not bothered by the poor video focus, as you explain everything very well. Thanks heaps for your assistance, without it, the watch would certainly be complicated to understand and set up as l like. Cheers from Australia.

I got my first Apple Watch in 2014 just because I had some extra cash and was curious. Before I got an Apple Watch, I had an android phone and purchased a bunch of watches (all brand name, no Chinese knock offs or crappy android clones). These android watches were cool but slow and useless. I don’t remember much about them but I do remember trying to create a note. Since the only way to do this at the time was to use the microphone and dictate your note to the Watch. God, it took like THREE MINUTES with no background apps running to launch the mic and another 30 seconds for it to work properly so that it wouldn’t only catch every second word. From the moment I put the generation 2 Apple Watch on my wrist, I basically never took it off. It’s more than an extension of the phone. It did EVERYTHING well. I think one major reason of this was that all the apple apps installed on the Watch were tested like crazy to ensure that they worked properly. I am not using the series 4 (never upgraded to series 5 or 6 because they’re basically the same thing and series 7, besides the aesthetics, doesn’t seem very different). I use my series 4 for 23 hours a day about 6 days a week and I’ve yet to even come close to run out of space, it hasn’t shown down, and perhaps most importantly, my battery health is hovering between 98% and 99%. I am extremely happy that I purchased that first Apple Watch and I’m glad it didn’t turn out to be another stupid novelty. One piece of advice to everyone thinking of purchasing an Apple Watch of any series: get the aluminum casing with whatever color strap you like. Don’t pay or buy your straps or accessories (screen protectors, casings, STRAPS) from apple. They’re a total rip off. Get on Amazon and you can get all this stuff for 1/20th of the price. Just make sure it’s a prime purchase with high a star value with great reviews. Have a great day, everyone! Most importantly: Great beginners video, AppFind! I’m sure a ton of people will benefit from your deep dive into the apple watch’s features and tutorials on how to use the watch and how to conserve battery life! Good job, bud! 🤟🏼

This video is definitely worth a million views. Very useful and informative. Keep up the good work. Few suggestions from my side is, next time please try to use a better camera, also you can increase the contrast setting in video editor to increase the video quality. Always check the focus of the camera while recording.

Good tips and tricks and introduction of the apple watch series 7 but my only complaint is that the video sometimes blurs and the audio is not clear enough. Too fast and remember you are introducing how to use and its intended for beginners so you have to speak slowly that newbies user of the item can clearly understand and since they are beginners, show to them also on how to navigate from one features to other features. But on the other end, thank you for sharing your knowledge about this product.

I got my Apple Watch series 7 on 19th august,for my birthday. It’s my first ever Apple Watch. Absolutely love it. I had the Samsung galaxy sm r805f before & I loved that watch. Only complaint I have about the Apple Watch,is the strap it comes with. I kept catching it & my watch almost fell off my wrist a couple times. So I’ve bought a new strap off Amazon.

I have a question around Apple Watch series 7. So my iTunes playlist in my phone has nearly around 2,000 songs. If I connect my phone to the Airpods, would I be able to access the same playlist and control the music through my Apple watch without using my iPhone(staying connected through GPS). Or do I need to download these songs into my Apple watch?

Also, can you have a app on the phone, but not have the same app on the watch. Eg KZitem. I would want KZitem on phone, but not on watch. So can you set up apps separately between the 2 devices?

So with the sinc, does it work when the phone is away from the watch? Meaning, if I’m out, and my phone is left at home, and an exercise app measures I’ve walked 1000 steps, will those 1000 steps still show on the same app when I get home?
@lumberjaxx3335
2 жыл бұрын
Yes it will! The GPS is counting all your steps etc, all the health data is collected too and when you will be back home it will sync with your phone. You won‘t get any notifications on your AW when your phone ksnt connected, you cant access the weather etc. because you need internet for that. But you can easily go on a walk or running and use the AW.

@@lumberjaxx3335 awesome thanks. I’ll buy a cellular watch Again if your out, and you receive an incoming call, does phone and watch both ring? So is it a matter of which is answered first? So if someone answered your phone at home, your watch would just stop ringing?

Please redo your video to not be blurry and slow way down on your talking and organize how you introduce features and settings (you jump all over the place). And for the sake of the video, be consistent, such as if you say at the beginning you’re not going to set a passcode, then don’t show yourself unlocking your watch with a passcode later on. Luckily I reviewed this video before telling my elderly parent with a new Apple Watch to view it. She would’ve been so frustrated. Please be aware that many “complete beginner” folks are going to be older and your video isn’t appropriate for them. I’m glad I previewed it so I could tell her not to watch this, it would’ve been a disaster if she did. thank you
