GREAT VIDEO!!! I love that you always show how to do the key pad. They need to pay you to do their videos!!! I learned more about my stupid Ricoma from you then any tech guy that I’ve talked to from there.

Nice design, your son has good taste in designs. How I do my applique is run all the pieces to be appliqued on a piece of backing, cut them out and use it as a pattern

I'm so glad you caught that you missed that one tack down assignment in the beginning. I saw but, couldn't help. I may be new to Ricoma, But I do NOT believe you have to use the Float Low(FL) method as you did. You should be able to simply use your stop button to rewind or back up your design to where you need to re-start. Now (FL) if this has to do with the toggling of the switch on the right hand side of the head then just ignore my ignorance. The design looks great. I am so looking forward to doing a lot of appliques with my 1501.

That turned out so cute! I made one for my grandson using a design close to the one you used but instead of fabric for the body I used a green textured embroidery vinyl, it looked so real!!

Hi Kayla. Nice job and fantastic tutorial. I have a flatbed machine but I’ve only done two items. At this point I don’t think I’ll be investing in a multi needle machine.

Came out great even though you had some problems. Yes, sometimes the Etsy digitizers don't digitize out their jump stitches which they should. I noticed you have threads that stick out on top when you start your new stitch after it trims the last stitch. My machine has not been trimming the last stitch well enough I think and when it starts a new stitch it comes out of the needle. Has that ever happened to you? Thank you for the video.

Could you tell me the name of the adhesive heat stuff you used on the back of the applique fabric? I'm new at this stuff and don't always know what things are available to us.
