You'd be forgiven to think that you can just apply an emulsion straight onto freshly plastered walls, because they are so smooth!
Well, the moisture in the paint gets instantly sucked into the plaster, and this causes the paint to easily peel off the wall once dry.
So you need to start with a mist coat; a watered down emulsion that prevents too much paint from being applied.
After the mist coat, apply at least *2 coats as normal.
*Based on how strong the colour change is.
