Did he lay down blender on the blend panels before he sprayed the color? We used Cromax Pro at our shop a few months ago but switched to Spies Hecker and you have to lay down the blender first before color with both paint lines.

That's an Acura RSX not Honda. Although Honda makes Acura that isn't a Honda. Besides that love the video. I'm searching for a good 1.8mm to spray liquid wrap with. Highly considering a Sata.

Jimmo, which SATA 5000 do you use for basecoat HVLP or RP? Also, what N/N size. Also what WS400 do you use for the clear and what needle size for that? Thanks.

+SATAMAN Schmidt I've traditionally used the HVLP for basecoat, however, I actually just did a rant on this exact topic for another video coming up. I recently spoke with a Sata technician from HQ in Germany who says he usually prefers the RP for basecoat. I think it depends on the paint manufacturer too, I believe Chromax recommends a compliant where BASF is HVLP, not sure about other lines.

For clear I use a iwata ws400 supernova 1.3 tip. Also good for clear is the sata 5000rp. For base I use my ws400 but the iwata ls400 is recommended. Also the devilbiss prolite is great for a 2 in 1. For clear and base. All preference.

Beautiful paint job bro, but the headlights are yellow and ugly, you can restore them sanding with 320, 600, 1200 and 2000 sand paper, and after that, apply a coat of polycarbonate clear coat and them will seem like new ones

@Shamrockjason

Alejandro Rodríguez actually you don't need to sand at all.. take a DA buffer preferably Porter-Cable and grab some blue coral or some other kind of metal polish and slap on a course pad. Dab a little bit of the metal polish on your pad and buff. 5 mins later brand new looking headlights. You're welcome.

it seems to me that you went a little too far out into the adjoining panels for the first coat and why didn't you give the first coat some flash time..... sorry about that but i believe in plenty flash time to get all the solvents out and not have any trapped to eliminate chances of solvent pop.... which i have had problems with before being impatient.....ha ha ha....sorry

Also spraying clear the way he did is better. If you go edge to edge you'll get a run on the edge of the panel. Going like 6 to 8 inches onto the next panel allows you to avoid that
