Marginalized student populations (Black, Brown, Indigenous, and/or LGBTQIA+ students) experience disproportionate hardships and require certain considerations when providing sexual and reproductive health referrals. Inclusive referral systems consider the unique challenges these populations face including discrimination, bias, and lack of adequate resources. This session supports NCSD’s “Developing a Referral System for Adolescent Health Services” toolkit webinar series.
Watch our recording from March 12 for “Approaches to Providing Inclusive Adolescent Sexual Health Referrals”, where we will hear from experts who will share strategies and best practices around making equitable, inclusive, and relevant referrals for young people.
