Great video and epic additions to your amazing collection. The CSA show is always fantastic. The Lenny Moore was my favorite. He is such a great signer. Did you see Mike Tyson signing with no shirt on. Big Congrats on all the great additions and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ed! Tyson had a huge line. Probably the biggest I’ve ever seen for photo ops. Because of that I only saw him from a distance! Lenny Moore is great!

I was there as well! Did you see the vintage Japanese baseball card vendor? Probably one of the most unique dealers I've seen and picked some awesome stuff there. I would love to figure out how to TTM old Japanese players.

I did! Along the back wall. I talked to him for a little bit. He was great at passing on knowledge about those cards. I meant to swing by him again on Sunday but ran out of time. They were great looking cards.

I wish we had shows like this in the L.A. area. We mainly just get few and far between appearances that just include players from L.A teams (mainly Dodgers and Raiders, although not an L.A team anymore). For the 2nd biggest sports market, you’d think we could get one of these huge sports shows, but they seem to just stick East of the Rockies Mountains. You got some great pick ups. 👍🏻

Thanks! I’ve heard of a few shows out there like Burbank but like you said, it seems most are out east.

Very nice pickups. Not sure how old you are, but back in the day in late 1980s/early 1990s, we referred to those USFL cards (and many others) as XRCs - Extended Rookie Cards.

Thank you and that makes sense. I’m more use to the traded sets being referred to that way.

Yes, @@abescardcollection2875, those sets, too. Many times if the player was not in the regular season set, they would be added to the Traded set, and that card would be branded an XRC until the next season’s set came out that would have their official RC. But now days, I don’t think the XRC term is used anymore, and many collectors now consider what was called the XRC the true rookie card now. I could be wrong, as I have not looked at a Beckett Magazine in a very long time.
