The Leyland Olympic really is a huge challenge, I'm an optimist but also realistic and the re-building work required may just be beyond the capability of your staff, that's not to say it couldn't be achieved, I personally feel the task is too great without the help of a full time bus manufacturing company.

The Isle of Man Road Services has one of eight MMN registered Leyland Olympics in preservation It's obviously not JAA but FOKAB could borrow it possibly? On a Manx holiday in 1970 my family and I were treated to a high speed trip from Ramsey to Douglas, an amazing performance for a then 20 year old bus.

Curious to know why does the 1950 Leyland Titan have a 1979 registration? A Southdown Leyland Titan PD3 has a WOW-T registration BTW.

@@hellowallace thank you kindly, I really hope you can restore the Olympic, I reside in Australia now, but if I was back home in uk, I would give my time for free to help … I’m a bus fanatic and trying to source a Leyland Titan B15 to take to Sydney for me to have a slice of home I used to drive them in service as a kid.

If it is rebuilt, then it will be at most, a replica, nothing appears to be salvageable, apart from the chassis and running gear.
