I'm met Myles as a young teenager after he played at a high school that my best friend went to in the suburbs of Montreal. Afterwards there was a party that the band invited us to (I looked much older than my age),and he sat next to me on the couch and after asking me my age, told me not to grow up too fast. I wish that I had listened Myles. Now I'm here in my '60s and I would do anything to have those good old days back again(and not grow up too fast). Thank you for the great advice (even though I didn't take it), and the incredible music.RIP❤

I went to a friend's funeral last week. She was the (barely) older sister I always wished I had. She dragged me (the nerdy neighbor girl) into being a cheerleader for her brother's (my age) little league football team, taught me about girl sh*t like makeup, how to play cards and to just relax and have fun. She also introduced me to some really great music. This one was her favorite!!! R.I.P. Wendy ❤❤❤

These guys had some good tunes and real chops - they could play, they could sing, and they could nail it live. Should have been bigger, but I think they hit at a weird time, with hair metal taking over. They didn't quite have the right look, the right vibe for the rock crowd, but were too rocking for the pop scene. Really terrific band, much better than some bands that sold better, that's for sure.

I had forgotten all about this song! And that's crazy, because it was the 4th song in our 3rd set, and I must have sung it a thousand times! In my defense, we're talking 1980-82 timeframe. I was a lot younger then, and there was a lot more in my bloodstream than just blood, if you get my drift. Miss my old bandmates: Doug, Kevin, Buford, and especially Mike (RIP, brother.) This Canadian group are truly the kings of the power ballads. This song and "Tonite is a Wonderful Time" are simply masterful. "just Between You and Me" is truly haunting and sad because the love is not just between the two of them - it's only in his mind, because he WAS left too unsure to try love again. He may hope or imagine that she feels the same way, but he will never be able to take that step to actually find out. Crushing.
