The stutter at 8k RPM (when the power valve opens) was almost fixed by installing the airbox snorkel again. Also more low end torque with it. Will change to a slightly smaller main jet soon as well.

@@tobiasgumpold1028 ehrlich gesagt, hol dir eine 4t 125er. Hat mehr Leistung, braucht weniger Wartung und ist viel langlebiger. Eigentlich schade dieses Bike zu drosseln, da sie erst über dem gedrosselten Bereich richtig Spass macht

First off in this video I haven't yet drilled the hole in the ECU which resulted in a power drop from 5k to 6k RPM. This is now solved but still minor hickups as soon as the powervalve opens around 8k. Let me know if you have an idea on how to get that dialed in. Maybe a leaner Main Jet?

@@tellenforelleI’m not too sure man. There’s a lot of factors involved. E.g Carb size, CDI modded, needle placement, haha better to find a good mechanic around you to help tune it. Or you can just throttle it more to get past that early rpm 🤣💨

@@tellenforelle if you have the old PHBH 28, go for 126 as main jet with original filter or 128 if it's in colder conditions if you run the original exhaust, otherwise make it slightly richer or sometimes leaner, depends on the exhaust. Add a 0.5% oil to your tank, just to be on the safe side when you experiment. Let the engine warm up, go flat out for a bit then turn off the bike. Check the spark plug. If it's chestnut or light chestnut you should be fine as far as carbing. If it's darker it means it's richer. If the plug reveals unburnt fuel you might either be too rich or something else is off. If you can, you should check compression ratio and most of all squish gap which should be around 1.5 mm stock. Don't go lower than 1.2mm on a road bike, below 1mm is racing territory. The best way to check that is to remove the cylinder head. However with a piece of coil for soldering of about 2 / 2.5mm you can insert it in the head through the head, reach the edge of the cylinder, then rotate the crankshaft once or twice. Check different points around the cylinder. If you don't know how to do it, just find a tutorial 'how to check squish gap on a two stroke engine'. If it's around 1.5mm it's stock and it's fine. If you're 1.8mm, it's too much and you don't have enough compression. You can adjust that with the lower gasket, they come in different thicknesses, 0.3, 0.5, 0.8. You must remove the cylinder to do that. Download the Rotax 122 manual to check all the specs. If you have 17/40 as final gear ration you should reach between 165 and 170 kph at 11.000 rpm. If your bike struggle to reach full rpms in 6 gear with 17/40, you might be low on compression. Usually with PHBH 28 and everything in running order, original exhaust emptied, if you weigh between 70 and 80kg you should be able to have a 17/39 final gear ratio and easily reach the top speed of over 170 in a racing position (head down the windcreen).
