So I have a few questions. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? Have you bought any add-ons that you suggest? And as im new to bikes, where do you put your helmet when you park and arent you scared that someone could come and just steal it if you dont have some kind of a lock? Ty for answering if you do :)
@Akselrss
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I have bought an arrow exhaust. In this video I was using it without the db-killer. I don't have bought any other add-ons but a new clutch lever or front brake lever would be nice to change. They are not so great. I actually never leave my helmet with the bike if so I use my old helmet which was very cheap and also lock it up. Yes because of stealing but also it becomes dirty and could get damaged. Also if it starts raining it's not so nice to have a wet helmet. A tip, on the right side (opposite to the stand) passenger peg is a great place to hang the helmet :). The back of the helmet upwards.

Hey! Thank you :) I was really pleased with my bike. However it’s not perfect for high speeds (90km/h and up). It’s same with all 125cc. The rpm is high and struggling to keep that speed. Since you are 30, I would recommend you to buy a bigger bike. For example Husqvarna 701 Enduro or an adventure bike. I think that would be much more fun and a bike you will not get tired of.

Hello Akselrss, so im currently 15 years old and I am going to have my A1 driving license till summer, and I already bought the Aprilia SX125. I was planning to make a roadtrip in the summerholidays with one of my friends, we planned to drive about 900km (way back included), and google says it should take us about 17hours (I outcluded highways). And as it is in the summerholidays, we have a lot of time, but I planned with a total of two weeks for this trip. I wanted to know from you, if it could be possible to carry a big backpack on the SX125 and if you could guess how long I could/should drive per day without getting tired, and still ejoying the landscape on this bike. And if this is even realistic to do such a long roadtrip just after getting my drivers license. I could of course shorten the trip if you think it is too long, which I think it is. I'd love to get a reply from you and I wish you a happy new year! ;)
@Akselrss
Жыл бұрын
Hey! Sounds amazing! :) I remember when I got my licence I could drive for hours and never get tired because it was so much fun. I think that is a huge impact of what you feel is long on the bike and not. I think you could manage the trip in 2 days (450km/day). Maybe it would be more enjoyable to split it up into more days as you said. So you don’t feel stressed to catch up with time and just enjoy the roads with no schedule. I don’t think the trip is too long. Just avoid highways, they are not so fun with a 125cc. I would recommend buying a seat bag that you can fasten on the bike behind you. If you have a heavy backpack that would be the first thing you get tired of. Although I never used my seat bag I think it would be nice to use for longer trips. As I talk from my experiences it could be different from how you experience it. I hope it could help you anyway and hope you and your friend have a lovely trip! Don’t hesitate if you have any other questions. :)

@@Akselrss Hello again! I just read your answer and first of all, I really want to thank you for your quick and detailed answer! So that sounds very good, I cant wait to finally drive on the streets and be mobile, but I am actually a bit surprised that I could potentially drive up to 450km per day, so then it is totally no Problem to drive this route in 2 weeks that is very nice to know! Yeah and I already heard that, its not that relaxing on the highway so then I can just enjoy the landscape as you already said! :) That sounds like a nice idea, then I think I'll have to buy a seat bag, thank you for your suggestion! I really unterstand the point that a backpack would be annoying. Yeah and you helped me a lot, thank you very much! :) I just have two more questions, so first one: Can you remove the "#be a racer" stickers from the bike or do they just stay on the bike? Second one: Is driving at night with this bike comfortable and is the spotlight bright enough to have a good vison at night? If I have any more questions, I will tell them to you, and you really helped me planning my trip! :)
@Akselrss
Жыл бұрын
@@grmanfighter07 No worries! Glad that I could help you :) I think the ”be a racer” is just a sticker that you can remove. From what I can remember the light is good enough. Helps a lot to have a clear visor/google. Behind the headlight (between the backside of the headlight and the display, on the left side if I remember correctly), there is a wheel you can adjust the light position with. Mine was not that good adjusted. I turned the light down a lot so I could see the road more but can be different if you have a newer/older model than I had. You could always buy extra lights but I don’t think it would be necessary. Especially in the summer. At least here in Sweden, it almost never gets completely dark in the summer
