If you used hydrochloric acid instead of sulphuric acid would it give you copper chloride??
@richardhiggins6471

Correct. And nitric acid would give you copper nitrate.

HE IS WRONG!!! U SHLD NVR NVR LIGHT UP a Bunsen burner when the Air-hole is open! Is very dangerous as there is leakage of gas and also a green flame will be observed.... GUYS PLS TAKE NOTE!!!
@richardhiggins6471
4 жыл бұрын
School students should always light a bunsen burner with a lit wooden splint, and the air-hole should be closed - CORRECT. However, if you light it with a electric sparker, like I did, you will find it is much, much easier with the air-hole open.

If its heated to remove all the water how does it remain a crystal????? doesn't it become anhydrous?????
@chemistrywithdrh6514
6 жыл бұрын
The key is to heat it gently - so that some of the water evaporates, and then the rest evaporates while it is still quite warm.
