Pro model is locked to China region (to use with Acquara app requires a China-region bridge), whilst the zigbee edition works on “other” region in the app, with possible expansion to other regions in the future, but as of now the support says that they don’t have any timetable, so it could happen in undisclosed future or never. If you want only Apple HomeKit functionality you don’t need a hub so they’re in that term basically the same

@@StaagGI just installed the a100 pro but i cannot get it to work; cannot add to aqara app nor to apple homekit. Can u gimme advice, what should i do?

@@christiampv change batteries, reset the lock to factory settings by holding reset button for 5seconds. What errors do you get? HomeKit integration should work regardless of whether you to use bridge or not. For aqara app you ofc need CN hub and in settings you have to select China server. You can also try to add the lock to bridge without usage of the app - check your bridge’s manual how to turn on paring mode using it’s button (probably holding for 5s until you hear “please add accessory”, then do the same on the lock - it should pair.

@@StaagG Thanks for the advice. I`ve reset the lock several time, but I don´t understand what it says, Its chinese I guess. Homekit shows a message that can`t find the device. And in Aqara app the look says something in chinese but the pairing code never appears.

@@StaagG I´ve figured out what the problem is. The door lock seems to be already setup to another account; the lock is asking me to introduce an admin code, which I don´t have. Now I´m returning the lock to the seller. Hope u find this useful. Does anyone know how to hard reset these door locks?
