I like how you did what most people don't do... You compared inside temp to outside temp.

Also you can look into reservoir cooling systems. Where I live I know I have no possibility of growing cooler weather vegetables during the summer ( lettuces ). My starter system is quite a bit smaller than yours though and I've been freezing bottles of water in my deep freeze to drop into my reservoir.

You have a great greenhouse. What are the dimensions on your greenhouse? I also love the aquaponic system you have. Did you buy as a kit? Where did you buy your beds? Thanks for the videos and nice work on the greenhouse.

I love your greenhouse setup. Everything looks so professional and neat. Good work on those beds and raft tables. Where did you get the kit to build the wet wall? I am thinking of trying to build the distribution and return system myself and purchase the cooling pads from a supplier. Also, do you have louvers on the outside of the cooling system?

Have you investigated high pressure fog systems? I live in the Texoma area and it's very hot, and I intend on going that route.

Would the wet wall on its own have been enough to cool the greenhouse? You should also have the option to use the heat thats gathered by the sump of the wet wall for hot water somewhere else?

I think you need the exhaust to remove hot air so more air can enter through the wet wall for cooling.

Sorry I did not reply sooner, just been busy...no louvers of any kind on the wet wall but my fans both have them... I bought the kit from B & K Installation, but kit and fans came from American Coolair in Jacksonville, Fl...There are many greenhouse suppliers that sell this same product..

Update on how it works now that its hot...I have come to the conclusion that trying to cool a greenhouse in SW FL in the summer just costs too much...so does it work? yes but I would say just to extend growing season and not to grow all thru the summer...

Hi and thanks for your input on these cooling pads and technology. What sort of max temp do you get in the summer? And when you say 'expensive', how expensive does it get to? Are you a commercial grower? Thanks again
