In this lesson we complete Chapter 5 (Lesson 13) of The Essentials of Arabic Grammar, an English poem which serves as a beginners guide to understanding the foundational principles of the Arabic language.
Today we're looking at The Nouns of Inquiry (إِسْمُ الإِسْتِفْهَام). These nouns are either used in the form of a conditional statement, or to ask the questions: Who? What? Where? When? How?
The aim of this short text is to aid the student on their journey toward reading comprehension of the Quran and Classical Arabic literature.
