Is it normal for the monitor to record values between 280-300 ppm while outdoors? I have one and it is recording values below 400 ppm.

No that will not be accurate, it most likely needs a fresh air recalibration. There are dip switches behind the battery for either automatic or manual calibration, which will probably help to get your Aranet4 working correctly. From Aranet4 Forums: In the case of automatic calibration mode, the Aranet4 device needs to be exposed to fresh air at around 420 ppm (for instance, outdoors or in a room with good air exchange) for approximately 8 hours during each 30 day operation period. When doing a manual calibration the Aranet4 device must be exposed to fresh air (about 420 ppm of CO2) and the environment should be stable (not changing) for 30 minutes while the calibration is done. Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from the device during the calibration process so the CO2 from your breath wouldn’t impede the calibration.

The only way to get the barometric pressure is by using a smartphone? It won't display on the actual device?

No unfortunately not without the app. Not sure why this decision was made as it is recording the data

@@duomouk Thank you. I ordered one that will arrive on Friday. I had no plans to use the smartphone app, but I guess I will to get the atmospheric pressure.
