Even though I don't plan on getting into your line of work I appreciate getting the techniques, how-tos, and how-not-tos. It's much more interesting than just watching people work and not really understanding what's going on. Good video!

My opinion: It is good policy to require all trees to be cut down to be marked either with spray paint or colored plastic ribbon, so as to avoid mistakenly cutting down a tree that the customer doesn't want cut down. Great work, by the way. Shout out to Reg.

Great stuff August, I built my kit off your bag design to fit in your bag (love having it all in one place will be ordering a rope bag to match soon) I like my slings at about 28-30 inches that way I can half hitch on slippery back like maple

andreas heijdendael seems far easier to me to go up and over something with a hook shot because throwing from between the legs underhanded tends to hook it back towards the person instead out over the limbs.

I would like to see the process of you getting your speed line up where its at and you getting your repel line up to the top of the tree as well I've always wandered how got them up to the very top with out climbing to the very top to set them up

John Adams you need a CDL for any truck that has a company name on it and has a GVW over 10k. If its not for hire tho, you can drive any size bucket truck or even Bigfoot without a commercial license.

@@jaxturner7288 26000gvw or less no cdl requirement just a chauffeurs. 26001gvw class b or a cdl required depending on trailer. Only if used commercially. You CAN DRIVE ANYTHING ANY WEIGHT as long as you fallow weight postings for the road and use it for PERSONAL use only.

i dont want to rain on the parade here but i would think climbing/rigging ropes near chippers would make your butt pucker...I was watching one of your (think it was yours, i watch so many tree vids) other vids detailing your climbing rope getting dragged (or accidentally loaded with brash) thro the chipper with the potential for devastation that had and i see potential for a similar situation here where you are rigging to a chipper with potential for that man controlled speedline to SOMEHOW get into the chipper (i'm assuming you're just piling it near the chipper with it not running.......could be just a matter of time before somebody tries this 1 step extra with a running chipper copying this or maybe I'm just visualising a scenario that would'nt happen in this industry with professionals?
