I met Tony Williams in 1997 at a drum clinic and I asked him to sign this Arcana CD - he asked me "what's this? did I play on it? oh cool that looks real nice." and then we chatted for awhile. A true life moment.

Fear not, Pongu Fogu, here I am to listen and to comment on this, one of the great Tony Williams' last work before he went to jazz heaven.

IMHO, one of the most crucial TW recordings I own. I would have given up my next paycheck if we could have heard more recordings like this before he passed. This could have been just the beginning of a whole new phase of his work. But so glad that we have this. Stellar stuff.

Just discovered this band through my interest in Bill Laswell. I saw Bill Laswell in NYC years ago. It was some insane free jazz kind of like this but more bass-oriented and with John Zorn. Anyway, this is a nice find this Laswell/Tony Williams collab. I see a lot of Arcana albums. I wonder if they are as good as the first two?

a great discovery ... never heard such music ... I was in a music store and it was played ... I thought it was experimentations from miles Davis on the seventies ... have no words to say ... crazy awesome powerful directly in your face ... what a ride ! too much exposed to this music may lead to madness....
