Robert: Good video, very helpful! I was just about to give up on making my own fills, but I've made several this afternoon after watching this!

The standard archicad library does come with a large range of fills. I have collected these over time and made many myself from scratch, or modified existing fills. I have made a few videos on how to make your own fills. Check this out if you are interested. It only takes a few minutes and could save you hours in the long run.

How did u get so many materials under your fills and elsewhere?...Did u make them all or can they be downloaded...Also what were the shortcuts you used to trim the line edges and to extend the boundary of your selection at 8:21

How do we take a picture of a pattern on a tile and make it 2D? Explode a PDF? Then do the above?

If the pdf is vector based (linework created in a cad program or illustrator) then yes, that process will work. You cannot do this from a photo though.

I created most of my own, as shown in may of my videos. You can get many from the template files, other programs, free online, and some companies sell them too.

Look a short rehearsal before you start recording would be beneficial to those watching the silences.....mate>
