1-loss in weight is 200 -170=30. (ii) buoyant force is equal to liquid displaced so it is 30g f. 2- New weight of object while coming in contact with fluid due to upward force or buoyant force. 3- (i) volume of body is equal to volume displaced so it is 1000cm3. (ii) It is 3kg.

Please sir check my answers 1. 30gf 1b. Buoyant force is also known as upward force, if upward force is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced, therefore buoyant force is =30gf 2.the apparent weight of a floating body is the weight of a body in a fluid. 3. Apparent weight of the body in water, I changed 5kg to grams having 5000gf, I subtract it from the displaced water 1000 5000-1000=4000 So I have 4000 as my apparent weight Please sir check I I am correct and thanks for the lecture.

@ManochaAcademy
5 жыл бұрын
Good question! Yes they will experience equal upthrust. As I discussed in the video, upthrust = volume of displaced liquid x density of liquid x g. Since the two balls have same volume and both will sink, so volume of displaced liquid will be equal. That's why upthrust will be same.

At 60 y/o I did not understand this. I appreciate very much your explaining it so I am able to understand. I'm not "physics" literate at all but find the topic fascinating. Now, using this same swimming example...please explain to me (because forensics is also fascinating to me) when one is swimming..water helps us stay afloat however, at some point the body will sink rather than float (because of loss of life for example 《drowning》). What causes this? Simplified please as done in this video. Thank you so much. Sharing your knowledge with others is so generous of you and greatly appreciated.
