I think what immediately raises the value and usability of almost all houses in Spongebob is that their exterior and interior are only very loosely connected. Squidward's house, for example, is somehow able to use only two outside windows that are accesible from far more than two inside rooms. I'd argue that incorporating the technology to create non-euclidian interior spaces into basically every single house speaks for the skill and ingenuinity of Bikini Bottom's architects - far surpassing the skills we humans possess. On that note, I find it admirable that Bikini Bottom's architects do not limit themselves by interpretings the rules of nature as LAWS of physics, but rather see them as what they really are - well-meant suggestions of physics.

A really good video however you forgot to point out a glaring flaw in Sandy's home. The main structure, the tree, uses leaves as walls, and so it is only available to be re-furnished and used as a bedroom during two seasons of a year when it would have leaves. I'm sure the base of the tree has its own rooms and that is how she manages to continue living there, but clearly she prefers having her bedroom in the middle of the leaves.

Water itself is a great conductor of heat, that’s why in computer science, liquid cooling systems are becoming more popular as they’ve become more affordable. They’re actually really effective. It’s for this reason I don’t think overheating would be much of an issue with Sandy’s tree dome, as the water would do it’s part to conduct heat away As for ventilation, I always assumed her big ol tree served the role of recycling air. Not entirely sure how effective that would be in practice.

Im not entirely sure if someone else has suggested this because I haven't really scrolled thru the comments that much, but wouldn't the whole ventilation thing in Sandy's Treedome not be a problem because her house technically IS the ventilation? She's typically the only resident in there, and she has a tree and plenty of vegetation to recycle oxygen, that I wouldn't really think it would be a issue. But, of course, I could be wrong in multiple ways. Besides that, I really enjoyed the video!! A further option would be that air can gat in with osmoses. We can see in the video that the door is a airlock. It could be speculated that said airlock can also be used to extract O2 from the sea water. And similar to Patrick as we do not see a bottom of said dome. she could have space below the ground. like all extra technical equipment.

The way you’ve integrated your avatar into the B roll is actually very unique and cool. Something I’ve never seen in a KZitem video before.

As a student of architecture, this is nice and entertaining✨️ You said to mention if another cartoon character used a fruit as a house and there is!! In the strawberry shortcake 2003 cartoon, Strawberry Shortcake lives in a strawberry!!😂😂🤗 Could you do a video on them? I remember it being a good and fun cartoon i watched when i was little. Nostalgia🤧

9:41 I'm pretty sure the plants would account for ventilation. the treehouse however, would not.
