Love the TV news executive analogy! Brilliant! Talking heads spewing the executive order who in turn is simply following the guidelines of a sycophantic natural built in biological reasoning that is void of compassion, and responsibility. That is truly the reason for their position in life. They let nothing get in their way so to speak. Winning is the motivation. This of course is also the danger of AI. We already have it with the Hitler types who are the true puppet masters of our world . So we need to be thinking about how to build the “ will do no harm “ into our AI systems. THE TOWER Of BABEL explained! As mankind is currently trying to build the Tower of Babel once again for his own salvation smart enough to recognize that his dreams of linking his brain to AI to map his consciousness so he can download it into a mechanical body, or super quantum computer generated universe indistinguishable from our reality. ( Elon Musk words not mine),could be achieved . But to foolish to comprehend that their realistic expectations they could possibly accomplish that is proof positive God has already accomplished it in a way that he will never comprehend. God is the Alpha Omega, I Am That I Am, The Source, The Light, and the Way, the ALL, the living water that all life, and truth flows from. Not the mathematician ( Elon Musk)of the ancient math of the universe, but the very ancient math itself. Not the programer( Bill Gates )of it All as man inspires to be,but the very programming of it all. Soon the beast system will be complete, without compassion, integrity, or responsibility. The winning at all costs could become the non human motivation. Ask yourself why is a book from thousands of years ago so spot on accurate about our current reality? Answer: the Alpha Omega. The same answer is found in the warnings etched into ancient texts. Who has the ability to transcend time to meet us where we are in the evolutionary process. Who also has the ability to commission the very ancient art works I am referring to? Do some research, heed the warnings. Learn what the Alpha Omega is trying to teach prior to building the Tower of Babel for your own salvation once again. That can end up being for your own demise simply ,because your arrogance .

Well… we shall see… apparently, it will take a few months or maybe a year after the mass graphene and MrNA distribution. Everything is set up. Behavior will be the first trend to dissect to see if it was a successful experiment. I do believe it will be. This has been in the works for a while. I’m sure there was quite a few tests before they decided to launch this experiment.

19 mins into the video and thus far it seems to me that growing a brain would be easier than trying to reproduce it. There's another video on this channel from 2018 called, "Forever Young" (The Promise of Human Regeneration), that explains how other human organs are being grown. I wonder how much progress has been made since these videos.

I think that atrocities also use electricity to communicate, only on A more extremely small level. If they communicate with chemicals , and use chemicals to communicate with the synopsis, there is still an electro magnetic process which allows for this to happen. They don't fire at the same rate. And they probably have the ability to be more localized. I do also believe that micro organisms are also able to send signals to our brains, and some of them might be able to manipulate us to some degree.

Very cool panel. About the AI deal, my thoughts are that machines are usually loyal to their programs. A code could make them act in a human social fashion, the problem in this conception is that there's no current human social code that is worth putting into a machine and won't generate aggression of some sort. Also, "Artificial Intelligence" would remain a philosophical concept as long as machines aren't provided with a sense of free will, which can become unuseful to human necessities if a machine develops priorities, goals and needs different from our own. I found it very unlikely to be achieved.

This was pretty good to watch, seeing the brain visualized this way prompted me to think of it as some kind of bio chemical internet, with the glia being the gateways - deciding which meshes and topology to use to approach a problem (which branch of neurons to use). one aspect stated previously is that when humans studied the art of flight we first looked at how animals fly, be it birds. But by understanding flight dynamics in general we modeled flight & ended up achieving the goal of flight but with airplanes that do not have to flap their wings. Using computers or models we might not need to flap our wings like birds but achieve the same or better results differently. Achieving goals such as simulating chess game- don't need consciousness etc People thought back then that you needed human level intelligence to achieve goal. Understanding Speech is at 98% human levels today- Understanding Sound or Images computers are over the 80% levels Understanding Language- IBM Watson has achieved its goals Self driving cars will be achieved in 3 years or less We might begin to get very close to "human level" intelligence soon, it doesn't mean its alive or has consciousness. But like with "airplanes & flight" maybe the simulations do not really need to model the brain exactly to achieve its near perfect implementation "as a better tool" that humans use in the near future or say 10,25 years time frame. Humans have fixed brains- certain number of neurons, certain fixed amount of memory before aging & getting dementia or forgetfulness. Computers CPUS & GPUS grow exponentially. Computers memory continually expands its own limits. What makes humans so great questions arise: Humans can't see as great as eagles that have awesome vision Humans memory isn't as good as say elephants Humans running speed can't match a cheetah Humans only have a certain number of thoughts each day, many of those are repeating thoughts- computers can think of billions of thoughts & play out millions of moves on a chess board that humans can't attain. What if we learn that so-called human level "thinking" doesn't require consciousness. Does computer simulations really need to finally become aware or consciousness to achieve or surpass super human levels of intelligence creates new questions. a) maybe when we finally learn how to replace biology with silicon neuron by neuron- we'll be able to answer those questions once & for all. b) scientist are already using biological cells instead of copper wires or silicon to create new computer circuits. What if in the distant future super intelligent systems or tools looked at Humans the same way we tend to look at Chimps or that lab mouse today. Both a mouse & chimps are sort of maxed out their own level of intelligence. We are more like chimps in more ways than one, what if humans do have this intelligence threshold already maxed out? Maybe explaining what an iPhone is & how to buy new apps at the app store to say a caveman is hard to really wrap your head around for a caveman to even really understand it. Todays current operating systems like OS X or Windows 10 have billion lines of code that makes them work until they crash or display an error. With all that complexity most computer techs ask you to unplug devices & simply reboot machine to fix them. There's a small number of techs that can drill down & comprehend where the complex code failed. My guess is that the complexity might become so difficult for humans to even wrap their heads around. When computers do reach "awareness or counscioness within the machines" maybe its a random roll of the dice when something simply clicks & we can't explain how or why it happened but just be aware that it has. Fun questions to think about I suppose :-)

Consciously aware is a cognitive knowing that the mirror is a reflection of you. Consciousness is our profound sensitivity through our awareness, a knowing that we are apart of something quite unique in the grand scheme of everything. A conscious mind respects all living things and life in general; not only on an emotional level but also with more of an intrinsic appreciation for all life matter, and the intricate diversity of all living things. 1:01:55 I think it’s a case of a 2 dimensional calculations. 1)When you go to a place that goes into Table T1= Verified (I) with column T1A = and column T1B = Unverified (0). 2) You have Table T2 = Unverified (0) with column T2A = Unverified (I) and T2B = Verified (I). Then you cross reference to avoid having to brute force the question and also acts as a check on correctness. Perhaps this is why we end up with the answer of “not sure” which might come from a T1A==1 AND T2A==1 result. I hope that makes sense to someone haha. It was hard to explain

As I see the problem, the task is not in constructing Artificial Intelligence, but in satisfying the conditions under which the Natural Intelligence will appear in a certain complex system. Moreover, consciousness should be talked about in its own appropriate terms, but not in terms of analogy with computing machines. The other question is how to detect the moment when the complex system becomes possessing consciousness. The problem is that a complex system is conscious iff (if and only if) it itself decides that it is already consciousness-possessing. Also, when talking about consciousness (or intelligence as its qualitative characteristic) we must take into account the existence of not only the normal thoughts-producing states, but also the presence of unconscious and altered states of consciousness, and the various nonlocal consciousness-related phenomena. I mean that what we know about the mind is what we can experience, but there are a lot of elements that we cannot experience in principle. The mind will work only when all its elements are replicated. However, when we will replicate the elements A and B, and ignore the elements C, D, F, etc. (because we do not even expect they must be there), then we could hardly expect for any solutions. Therefore, to solve the problem of Artificial Intelligence we must have an effective theory of consciousness in the first place. Indeed, we must know for sure what we are going to construct before trying to construct it. The mere playing with computer chips by connecting them at random will never lead us to positive results.

Yes, but "playing with computer chips" (which is a bit of a strawmanning way of interpreting what they are aiming to do) also might be an effective way of finding that there is a C, D, E etc to expect, and consequently, what those elements exactly are and do. What you are saying sounds a bit as if you needed theory X to construct theory X.

Wouldn't each brain be unique and uniquely connected? Due to differences in biology, experience, and environment. And is the mind even located in the brain ? Is it the seat of the soul? Do all thoughts originate in it? Are merely processes by it? Is the brain little more than a litmus for the body, a processor? Is it us? Is it just a part of us? Is our mind and spirit separate from it? Why do people have changes in thoughts and experience strange things when they have a transplant. How much comes from the heart? The spleen? The left leg? Is it a reflection of other things , a mirror of the universe in a way ? Why do atomic explosions look like brains?

What chemicals are used or interpreted into our food affects our behaviors and health. One example of behavioral changes that I have personally experienced is literally feeling the clogged synopsis release from its clogging substance after a few days of quitting nicotine. Cognitive Clarity resumed and ruminating ceased. Addiction is a chemical process that Zaps our will and energy. Medications and food additives as well as pesticides actually alerts our synopsis by blocking pathways-protecting major areas of our brain but also at times stunts our abilities. ETA🌹

When we try to explain how a complex system works (a system which is not made by us), we do reverse engineering. BUT, reverse engineering can be applied ONLY when the working system IS NOT TOO complex. For example, the reverse engineering cannot be applied already when examining a computer processor. However, a consciousness-possessing organism as a complex system is much more complex than a computer processor. When Neurophysiology is looking for neural correlates of consciousness, it attempts to do reverse engineering too. Since consciousness-possessing organism is more complex than a computer processor, therefore, studying consciousness is not a task for Neurophysiology.

Interesting discussion, however no one has been able to answer what determine which hemisphere is dominant, and why, as a predominantly left handed person, I’ve learned that I think and process information and situations differently and have more empathy, than sympathy, so when we create AI robots that are capable of independent analysis will they be made in to think like a right or left handed person or will they become like a being who only react to stimulation without understanding the situation, like the robot in “the day the earth stood still”...also when we are born, we are like a blank silicon chip that can be programmed by our association with family, friends and environment and as for language, we learn language based on our need to communicate with those we depend on, and what determines our ability to learn and the percentage of our brain we use or develop..anyways a fascinating subject that’s as scary as it is intriguing..thank you!

Neurotransmitters are endogenous chemicals that enable neurotransmission. It is a type of chemical messenger which transmits signals across a chemical synapse, such as a neuromuscular junction, from one neuron (nerve cell) to another "target" neuron, muscle cell, or gland cell.[1] Neurotransmitters are released from synaptic vesicles in synapses into the synaptic cleft, where they are received by neurotransmitter receptors on the target cells. Many neurotransmitters are synthesized from simple and plentiful precursors such as amino acids, which are readily available from the diet and only require a small number of biosynthetic steps for conversion. Neurotransmitters play a major role in shaping everyday life and functions. Their exact numbers are unknown, but more than 200 unique chemical messengers have been identified.[2][3][4] Wikipedia

I was hoping to inspire him and he wrote his book “The other brain” soon after that. 🥰👍🏻 Surprised and gratified to see him on this. But I originally wrote a paper in 1994 where I coined the terminology “missing dark matter of the mind”. In my paper I show that they are likely outside of time as we know it. That when we look into the brain, we are not seeing what is really happening. (a la Donald Hoffman-esque icon-building). However, there are ways of knowing what they do since brains are a system for building what we perceive. You need to first understand the laws of information and perception which are normally transparent.

Therefore what your speaking about is Bible related, amongst other ideas from Goddard’s theory. I am, and imagination, suppose if we meaning the earth our solar system and understanding of the universe is a imagination inside of the father’s brain? Therefore is it possible that we too have universes and those ideas in our brains too and that would explain the multi-verse theory as well, thus explaining the box, so in essence the part of the brain that scientists say that doesn’t do much, probably holds a lot more than what’s originally thought.

It's pretty arrogant to think these people can reconstruct or simulate the brain when they can't make a knee joint that can mimic or reproduce the function of a real knee. I speak from experience as an amputee who no longer has a functioning knee on my left leg or what's left of my left leg. To even come close they would first have to create a power system that would be light enough with power supply enough to be away from a power source for recharging. The Swiss have done wonders with hydraulics and valves but not even near what could be called fully functional knee. Computer circuitry and servos are getting smaller and more powerful but durability is the problem same with material that can endure the massive forces the moving parts are subjected to. Of course, cost will always be a limitation when dealing with cutting edge technology and fabrication or manufacturing. The complexity in what a knee joint is called on to do to run and jump is unbelievable as can be seen in athlete's career ending due to an injury of a knee not lost of a knee. In the end a knee can be considered more mechanical then a brain which could be considered electrical circuitry. In the end for a knee to work fully it takes both the brain and knee to work in conjunction with many demands made on demand not reflexsively or unconsciously. So please, the arrogance of these scientists and doctors are breathe taking.

Fluid dynamics is probably as close as you`ll get to the mathematics needed for this study. It would need to be multi-dimensional fluid dynamics at that. Even if you managed to get a computer to work with NP layers directly on top of each other you would never meet the levels of computation involved in a brain, not even a non-human brain.

I believe that the connection or the plug will be applied at the base of the neck where the spinal column attaches to the brain at this point you can put a plug in schematico plug-in through this that's the top of the spinal column in the insertion just below the brain this is where the neuro center transmitter headquarters is because this the brain transmits the neurotransmitter signals through the spinal car the spinal cord transmits that through nerve endings and these nerve endings are what gives you the sensitivity or electrical energy or to move the limbs and arms so they're basically it works on electrical system electrical charge through water so it's like the main conduit it's definitely at the base the top of the spine will call them where most of the neurotransmitters are located due to most of the nervous center of the human body is on top of the spinal cord this is what controls the movement of the body the human brain controls that so the plug-in is at the base top of the spinal column that's where we're going to use the interface still control the

"Can we build a machine that can equal or exceed the human brain?" We already have - the calculator (the human brain is not designed to do math, otherwise we wouldn't have had the need to invent the calculator). There are other 'brain bugs' (title of a book) that we've already compensated for with technology, for example in regards to the brain's woefully inept memory (and let's not forget that individual brains die when we die, while what we create is saved, if but 'on machines'. So we already create technology (machines) that compensate for our brain's ineptitude's (meaning we don't want to replicate the human brain, but to improve on it. (Just to note, as for the body, forget about it - it has already been left far, far behind by technology, as primitive as our technology is compared to the future) (assuming we do not regress into a permanent Dark Age - and don't rule that out!). On another point, one person observed (on another video) that "machines will never equal the human mind" to which I replied, "Since machines are an extension of the human mind, you've just made the absurd statement that "the human mind will never equal the human mind". The neuroscientist suggested slicing the brain into "millions and millions" of slices in order to understand it, when he should have said "billions and billions", or even trillions, since we are talking about activities on the molecular level (millions and millions per centimeter, maybe) (which seems futile considering the width of a blade - where millions of 'slices' will be destroyed by the blade for each slice that you get, so your picture will be vastly gapped) but even then he is suggesting the study of a dead brain with primitive tools and primitive minds (though we have to start somewhere!), which may help understand its physical structure (which is limited knowledge without an equally detailed map of its extension - the nervous system), but studying structure alone will not give a picture of the brain in dynamic chemical and electrical reaction) senses. Physical structure on a molecular level is one critical part of the whole picture, however, but considering the brain's deficiencies, I wouldn't put too much emphasis in reproducing it, but rather enhancing it, which will cover the goal of reproduction, and then some, in terms of function and storage, not to mention durability. As for panels in front of audiences, it is entertaining to see people trying to communicate difficult topics on such a primitive level with far too many distractions (illustrated at 38:03 ). Just some thoughts.

One other thing is I am not an organism!!!! I feel very deeply. I'm just extremely unfiltered from pain. So I find it offensive if you call me organism I might have to tell you about yourself. Because I love very deeply despite what you think. I really don't care I know what makes me not care and I'm fixing that. That's the only other thing that really about this and not one person called me. You guys saw the the mean me.. people need people, I need love too if you look on quora I just wrote about drug addicts and what they need is love and compassion we are all hurting in some way shape or form.

When the moral and ethical parts of this were being discussed did it not dawn on anyone to mention automated drones? If these are allowed to operate it will bring up massive ethical issues, such as; if you shot down a drone should you be liable for even destroying government property as it is working on it`s own. It is also not possible to put any drone 'accidental killings' down to an 'act of God' since they are manmade. maybe someone did have these questions but were censored from asking them!

The energy which powers all living things and which makes all of the complex goo of the brain work is the reason why computer brains will never be the same. I believe that no computer can be an individual like humans are because in Nature, no one individual is exactly the same. The first blueprint for the human brain was engineered by the people of ancient Egypt on a very large scale.

Yes - it's just that most people aren't aware of the fact they possess such unlimited potential for self-improvement. The interior layout of the Great Pyramid proves conclusively that the ancients were aware of their innate potential - that we really do have chakra points or energy centers in the limbic system and then, it seems as if they made use of this knowledge to channel energies efficiently. It is the clearing of these main energy centers that opens the way for the energies to flow unimpeded.
