Great presentation . Looks like an antimatter collider . CERN comes to mind.

Haha _ I had not considered that. But it is an option. Is the plan to find anti-matter and have it collide with matter and end the universe that way? Kind of an extreme measure to dominate the smart phone market! Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@architecturecodex9818 I loved Drafting in highschool . Had wanted to go into architecture but had that dream snatched away my senior year . My life's ambition was to find out what is behind our dirty system of existence . Well I figured it out . Also found out that I incarnated on earth for what is taking place right now but that's another story . I know way more than most people naturally. Blessings to All

I particularly appreciate the sections where you emphasize the importance of engaging in discussions with clients, viewing them as collaborative partners, and acknowledging that there may be challenging clients to steer clear of.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I design for people, not for history or the press. That is my art and I do it to my best ability. Of course, this may be one main reason I am not considered a great or famous architect.

Like many others, more articulate than I am, I have a problem with Euclidean land use, especially in light of current understanding.

Not sure of what you mean. The basic Euclidian shape is irrelevant. What makes the site special was the effort made and the expense incurred to hide the parking. The rest is just form. Or am I not understanding you?

@architecturecodex9818 I refer to Euclidean zoning, which refers to single use , sprawled out zoning, originating in Euclid, Ohio, now widely debunked. To build such a lavish campus, which is dependent on massive, high mileage commuting, was asinine IMO. The prettiness of the structure does not excuse this. Why not create housing and other amenities on the campus along with shuttles that take employees to San Francisco on the weekends? The employees spend far less time commuting.

@@stevemiller7949 Most urbanists want dense cities to house people and deride the suburbs. But I notice most famous urbanists have country homes in addition to their luxurious city apartments. So, their pushing their elitism rather than planning for choice and for people. But I also despise those small enclaves that tax excessively to keep out the undesirables in their town. I think that that overall the concept of zoning was good, but it needs to be (and is becoming) less rigid in certain districts and allow for mix use, particularly in those zones near existing mass transit. It is happening in towns all around me and is a healthy addition (albeit still not cheap) to the traditional zoning. But there is a place for office parks, single family housing lots, etc.

You could of worked on it! They always could use grunts when there's that much Terrazzo to install! What are you scared of wheel barrows? Just joshing! Apple bought their own marble quarry for this job and all their stores...I worked on the Walnut Creek store installing Terrazzo

Thanks for watching. I have volunteered my labor on some charity jobs, but installing terrazzo would be too much responsibility! I've always wanted a commission where I would have to fly to Italy to inspect the marble before it was quarried. Not sure I would know what to do, but I still wanted the opportunity. How did this terrazzo install feel to you? Did you feel it was special or just another job? Do you get the sense I get when one of my projects is built that "Wow, I got to do that!" ? Or did you look at it and say "What a waste of money?"

@@architecturecodex9818 Ever since I was a kid fishing I have admired the beauty of rocks..in 1988 I was on my way to Sitka Alaska to study to become a fisheries biologist specializing in Western Pacific Steelhead... Talked it over with my Dad he was going to help me out... I ran into one of my high school sweethearts who was Italian and been doing Terrazzo ever since! I had no idea what Terrazzo even was! They put me on a grinding machine the very first day! I fell in love with Terrazzo 3 hours into my first day! I couldn't believe I was making floors out of beautiful rocks! Only a couple jobs in my 35 years have I felt bored and All this work for an ugly looking floor! Now I make Artwork I recently finished a 4 foot Oval surrounded by broken red imperial granite of a Native American Salmon the piece has 80 individual panels handcrafted it came out beautiful! I used Abalone, mother of pearl and glass accents! Next time you're in San Francisco check out the Trans Bay Terminal Hummingbirds in the floor! 16 different colors The Job got #1 Terrazzo Job In the USA 2018-19! I was the lead finisher. It's been a fun time! I've been able to travel all over the USA doing Terrazzo my Son has followed in my footsteps and is now the #2 man in the second largest Terrazzo company in the USA! I'm very proud of him! Next time you visit an Apple store look at the marble chips in the floor they are unique! In fact when I was working in Walnut Creek store I asked the lead man ..I said...I've never seen this marble before what's it called... That's when I found out that Apple had bought their own quarry! The marble looks like quartz but much softer ! ✌️❤️🇺🇸🛐🗽
