FLOW is the word your looking for. Their genre was generally indie but they draw from alot of styles. Their drummer was also on Kanyes radar for a while. Do a lyric video to Teddy Picker or Brianstorm

I believe this is the album in which they said the biggest influences were hip hop and Black Sabbath. Whatever it was, it works.

RRT, been watching u for a minute, and gotta compliment your growth as a musical omnivore (not caring as much about genres) but also in the confidence of your presentation (u used to doubt your own observations a lot!) and the increasing polish of your channel. Keep up the growth, its a joy to watch your evolution.

That moment when you're singing along but the lyrics on the video are wrong and it ticks you off so much xD Especially knowing that someone's reacting to wrong lyrics

Also, check out R U Mine? by the Arctic Monkeys, trust me! By the way, the genre is Indie Rock (Their sound varies even from song to song not necessarily from album to album, you can hear Rock n' Roll, Punk, Alternative, Chill in the same album!)

Great review. Alex Turner is the best UK (if not beyond) songwriter of the 21st Century in my opinion. British colloquialisms, thrown in effortlessly time after time with banging music

Hey, RRT. Your Oingo Boingo tune has been pulled. BTW, I'm a little surprised that you've posted two Oingos and not a single Devo tune. "Whip It" would be the perfect place to start. And it goes without saying that Devo runs circles around Oingo Boingo. Yup! :D Thanks again for your posts, and Cheers from Toronto!

Heck yeah, I found the Artic Monkeys reaction! This lyric vid sounds a tad slower tempo than normal - maybe to help people sing along. If you get a chance, check out the official vid because I think you'd appreciate the structure/flow/cadence even more at the proper speed. So, back to back AM vids seems like a great place to end this day of RRT binge watching. As always, thanks for the reax!

One of the few rock bands of the new generation that still makes good music. This is the second change of the band, this album has a great influence of Josh homme from the "Queens of the stone age", after this album they went in a pop vibe,. Other bands from today that you should check it out. Arcade fire Reflektor or Suburbs Tame Impala - Elephant Kasabian - Stuntman or Empire Arctic monkeys falls into independent music, if you will check more songs of them stay in the first two albus, great songs there: The View From The Afternoon Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But... This House Is a Circus Brianstorm Teddy Picker D is for Dangerous The Bad Thing Nice surprise today, thanks a lot, peace.

You were right the 1st time; the word is cadence and it refers to any rythmic sequence of words or sound. Glad you like the song. For me, it's a little too monotone 💤....can't like 'em all. Have a great day. See ya Friday...Unless you're ambitious and put 3 up for WTF Wed.s! Maybe soon you'll play some English Beat, "Save it for Later." ? 🖖Live long and prosper.
