I've accidentally removed most of my video descriptions. Nothing I can do now. In this video I am discussing how to make your own Ambilight system out of an Arduino, some WS2812 LEDs and some open source software.
This is probably one of the easier and best Arduino projects you can do for around $25. The Ambilight system projects the colour from your PC’s monitor onto your wall, making it appear as if the screens are larger than life. They can have full animations and look great in movies and games.
The project is easy, simple attach the LEDs to your monitor and hook up the 5V power supply to them. Load the provided software onto the Arduino and connect to the LEDs and PC. The Prismatik software will send the colour commands to your LEDs. It’s really easy and works great!
