@@HappyDude1 I have been thinking that plastic BBs are too light and not strong enough, while steel BBs are too heavy. It wasn't until I saw your video that I suddenly realized that aluminum BBs can be used. This is a perfect and balanced choice for me. 👍

@@lessmeaning9776I guessed that was the problem before reading your comment because I had the same problem before finding out about aluminium BB's. I've just ordered some to try them out.

I have been reusing my alu bbs over years, but with < 0,5 Joule Spring or AEG guns. But might also have worn down the very cheap plastic things, cause some only hold now those alu bbs, if i put in "good" plastic bbs, they sometimes fall out of the barrel when cocking. But i heard it should be okay if you have a soft place to catch your bbs and just shoot paper (but maybe want to wash them, and better still only reuse in crap guns you do not care about). They look so pretty, i do not want to throw them away... well also, i am one of of those that also reshoots plastic bbs if they do not shatter from time to time. Biggest problem on my now 20 years or so old Airsofts: All the Cast Metal parts start to just break, the 100% plastic did hold up better over the years.

I have heard not to use 6mm steel bbs in airsoft guns because most of them have brass inner barrels. My 4.5mm bb pistol that is made to shoot steel bbs came with a brass barrel, will the inner barrel be destroyed? I have noticed that most blow back 4.5mm bb pistols come with brass inner barrels instead of steel.

Brass is much harder than Aluminium, just don't use steel, copper is softer than Brass but Aluminium is the softest.
