My supervisor wrote me a PIP and some incidents addressed which I did not do. I told her I will do my best to improve. She scheduled me for touch base meetings and it was stressful. On Monday, she emailed me regarding my work performance with HR manager. I was stressed realizing something was wrong. We had a meeting and was told I did not follow instructions and she told me I did not work out and asked me if this is what I wanted to do. I tried so hard to improve myself. Then Friday, I had a follow-up meeting and if I don't improve, I'm terminated. Three days after the weekend, the HR manager came and hours later, I was asked to go to an office. Work should be quality over quantity, and I think a lot of people tend to forget that due to monetary concerns and pressures. In all actuality though, what you lose in monetary sustainability you gain in mental clarity. Now admittedly, I'm single and don't have children, so for married couples or people with children I can understand how there's probably a good deal more of pressure. At that point, it's just a matter of finding a better quality company or moving to a better quality department at your current company wherein you aren't stuck working beneath the overbearing manager on staff of that department. If you can't undercut anymore, than you've gotta advance either up or out. Business, Economics, and Finances are all fields that I think even if you don't have a degree in that if you want to have a better quality of life that it's worth brushing up on. There are definitely information resources available, it's just a matter of figuring out how to best apply that information.

I never left a review myself, but I did write about what I knew and what I experienced while working with the company in my journal. Knowing the reputation of my former employers, they don't appreciate negative feedback that will affect the growth of the company. I was the most senior guy on my team but I was furloughed for a few months last year. The two sycophants were retained. I was called back off furlough after a few months but not back to my team. There was another department which was outsourced, the Corp ended the contract during the pandemic and sent a few people there to do it the jobs. Mind you, it’s not in my profession, it’s not a desirable role. It’s like the lowest rung on the ladder. They said “this is just temporary...meanwhile it’s been 6 months with no end in sight. Now mind you, I still get paid the same, where as someone hired into this role would get paid much less but that’s not the point. I hate it . I also think it’s totally unfair and the companies pretty “woke” so I’m confident one of the reasons is because I’m a blue eyed veteran.
