I had teachers in elementary and high school that were brilliant at math; but majority of the time they have to care and know that their future depends on the young mind. A lot of times it is the environment that a person is brought up in; I mean they have to want you to succeed! Don’t mind me, carry on! ❤️

That was quite tough and just because i dont like easy things only hard brain provoking things can engage me doing study .. now i can relate why he used tougher books for me . I was very fickle minded easily get distracted or loose interest if its not brain provoking and tough ..i love challenges ..miss my dad . Every descent student knows square and roots upto 20. Asl them square of 23,43,27any won't be able to answer. these were all educated in english medium schools. Many Indians are really bad at maths too. Everyone is good upto engineering. :D

I think its mostly social phenomena where students intelligence is directly related to science and maths scores. My child studying in second grade has tables till 15 in academics.. So we think its common and ok for kids to score atleast 90 in maths.... Anyways that keeps our ability to think good as well

Aryabhatta, from India, was born in 476 AD invented the decimal system we use today because the roman numerals was hard to calculate large numbers. He also invented 0 and negative numbers not in the roman numerals like I II III IV V VI .. He also invented a pre-curser to calculus. The infinite power series.

Indians from Tamil Nadu and Andhra are the ones who are mainly good at Maths. Mathematical genius Srinivas Ramanujan was from Tamil Nadu and Chess (a game that needs tremendous mathematical thinking) Grand Master Vishwanathan Anand is from there. So its more in the genes of that race of people.

Number crunching itself ain't math, I am an indian myself and we are good at numbers coz we have been doing math problems for about 10+ years without calculator. Its just muscle memory at this point. Ask us about basic probabaility, calculus, geometry questions and then judge.

U know india is the one of the country who conduct world toughest exams... Its really hard to clear them insted of indians. bcoz every indian student from the begning of there study is started to prepare them selfs for the exams... So for them a particular subject ki no big deal they handle all subjects...even they want or not...😌 they need to knock there mind time to time...
