I use them as insurance. It won't hurt to use them with Mil-Spec triggers although not necessary as stated.

Been shooting many years and many ar15's and last week was the actual first time I had pins walk almost out. Got back home to make sure all was ok and in proper place and it was. I will be purchasing anti walk pins. Thanks for the video. The trigger group was a PSA and also the pins and all were mil spec, but they walked.

Not totally true. Just built a mil spec m4 clone and took it to the range. Hammer pin walked out twice. Installation was done right. So yeah no

None of mine every walked even with my Velocity 3lb drop in. They have 2 sets of screws that keep it locked down. Great video! Making my way through the rest... New viewer.

I went to the trouble of locking my drop in trigger down with set screws being because it was difficult to hit the hole with my allen wrench. Finally got the set screws tight Then they told me to loosen them off and put in the anti roll pins. I was like really I just got done. I dont think it will walk I might try it a while. wish I would have installed the anti roll pins first sheesh.

The trigger and hammer pins are suppose to rotate by design. Anti walk pins will put strain on the trigger group, resulting in broken hammers, pins and triggers..I broke 2 triggers in the disconnect area using anti walk pins with my register lower..I removed them an have had zero problems... Get them off your rifle if you are using them..Great video..

I have never had them walk out but the hammer pin always rotated and eventually wore out the pin holes in the lower. Now I can’t use a Milspec trigger only cassette type. The way I see it is it’s cheap insurance so why not. They definitely don’t hurt anything

I built a PSA AR-10. First time I shot it the pins walked out the side just enough to jam up the rifle.

I have a milspec trigger on my precision and noticed one of my pins was sliding out from the right side so I bought anti walk pins thought it would help after noticing the standard pins were coming out

I never had pure MILspec walk but after i bought 4 new MILspec type stainless triggers and paired them with 4 JP Enterprises yellow springs they walked. They kind of “ran”, meaning 30 rounds was all it took. I was so disappointed because my triggers were a perfect 4lbs. Anyway, i ended up buying 4 sets of Wilson Combat Anti walk pins and problems solved. Now i have awesome trigger upgrades that on cost me 40 bucks each all in.

The pin holes on my AR lower is so out of spec that it essential turned my normal trigger into a binary trigger. These anti-walk pins fixed that issue

Still believe 12.5" is the best length? Its true 12.5-14.5 is minimal variation.... Kinda wish i wouldn't went a little shorter, but settled with 13.9" & 14.5

Sorry, but incorrect. I have an AR9 that required them with a nickel boron FCG.\ from PSA. I then put them in ALL of my AR platforms. JSE for 7 bucks per set. I would not shoot a cassette type FCG; I just am not sold on them...good video though!

You completely missing what he said.. with a drop in trigger group… you don’t need them but since you don’t use a drop in trigger you would not know that…
