It took a while to pronounce giclée (I say gee-clay). Hahnemühle (Hana mule) still does not come out right. You guys did a wonderful detail review. Remember to think of production days in business days and yes the processes would have picked it up on 8/23 and the printer may have kicked it out 8/24 then it waits in line to be cut. Flat packages are more susceptible to damages which is why you need hard tubes. But send picture to FinserWorks with an X through it and they will replace at their cost.

Yea those are some tricky words for sure! We're so glad you liked the review. We weren't too worried about the print because it was pretty minor and a test print for ourselves to see what a customer would get. Thank you for the information! That will defiantly be helpful to know in the future!

One thing that frustrates me about finerworks is that they are not transparent about time it takes to print. I have several orders with them and they have on their website that volume is higher causing delays. But the problem is that they say that every time. Your video is 8 months old and I feel at this point they should update their print times.

Thanks for pointing that out. We can see how that can be frustrating. Have you tried reaching out to their customer support team?

@@TealFishStudio Have you guys tried lumaprints? They have so much lower prices, I wonder what is that about?

I feel like the bigger photos should be in a tube whereas the smaller ones can be in flats.

We definitely realized that the bigger ones are safer in a tube. We decided to ship both sizes in a tube to minimize any damages. Overall it seems safer.

Thanks for the detailed review. Did you have to use any ICC profiles for the different papers? Or did you just send the files and were lucky that the printing matched the files?

You're welcome! We didn't download any of the ICC profiles for these tests. They do offer some for their different papers though. finerworks.com/info/icc-icm-color-profiles.aspx
