Good video bhai. I own 2022 390 adventure standard version. I agree with your opinions 💯. Somehow the stiff suspension of non adjustable suspension hurted by spine and didn't feel comfortable on small speed breakers (rumbles) at slow speeds. I upgraded my rear to adjustable and man I must say this adjustable suspension with soft settings glides on rough patchy areas. Comfort level increases tremendously. Front suspension is of not a big difference you can upgrade but not on priority basis. Rear suspension for 7300 is absolutely worth it. Try it out and do let me know your review regarding rear suspension 👍 cheers.

Adjustable suspension is very very good .. atleast for rear . I ud suggest buy standard and get rear adjustable suspension . I have done same.. I did few offroads.. no back pain after adj suspension.

What about wind blast?? I'm 6ft tall and I feel a lot of wind blast even after installation of carbon Racing v2 windshield. Any suggestions or upgrades to overcome this issue

Hey! Unfortunately there’s no solution for the wind blast on this bike as of now. You can install custom wind shields available in the market to minimise it but can’t get rid of it completely.

Have you compared 390 with Triumph Scrambler 400x? I am confused between these two. Scrambler have excellent low & mid range torque, also prizewise cheaper than 390. My purpose is only weekend long tour. Which one should I go for?

Hey! Yes I did compare both and I can definitely help you out with it. But before we move further, you need to decide 2 things on the basis of which it’ll become much easier to choose one out of these two: 1. Classic or Modern looks 2. Budget If you’re into classic bikes and want to save on some cash, you should definitely go for Triumph. Its low-mid range is really gonna leave a smile on your face. Seats felt a bit more comfortable as compared to ADV390. With pillion you might feel there could be a little more space between the foot pegs but that’s manageable I guess. On the other hand, if budget isn’t an issue for you and you want some nasty beast for long tours or some off road trails at times with loads of features packed in a single unit, you should definitely go for ADV390. Low end isn’t that great for city traffic but once you get to know your bike, it’ll be smooth as butter in traffic as well. “Budget, looks, features & purpose” just get sorted with these points and I’m sure you’ll get your final answer. Thank you so much buddy! Seats are a little bit on the harder side on 390. So for long rides just use padded riding pants or a gel seat and you’re perfectly good to go. Rear suspension actually works better with pillion or when the bike is loaded. You’ll be able to enjoy a smoother ride.

Still..! It’s KTM! Known for speed. I cruise at 130-140 at times but would definitely try to max it some day on some traffic free patch. 😄

I’ve done 21,000 kms and believe me, I fall in love with it every other day. So yes, completely worth it. And its service is as cheap as RE Himalayan.

Sorry to differ with you, TVS is much better than ktm why I own a rr310 and adv 390. And the feel being a sports tourer also rr310 has offered is much better than ktm adv 390. The faster oil burning issue of ktm idd the worst where as it’s not there in rr310. The TVS engine is a marvellous piece of engineering. I know a rider who has clocked 150000+ km on rr 310. The service centre quality is the only thing which is common for both ktm and tvs -pathetic. I wonder why TVS not coming up with an adventure bike. The base for my comment is the tours I did- ktm adv 390 - Assam to banglore- 4 days. Rajasthan to banglore- every 3 to 4 months on TVS APACHE RR310.

I completely understand your opinion and respect that. And I appreciate that you shared your amazing experience with TVS. But I never meant that TVS is a bad brand or anything. In the video, I just wanted to share my thought process behind choosing this bike over any other, which is a very common thing everyone goes through while going for a new bike. Other than that I meant no hard feelings towards any other bike or brand. 🍻
