I was wondering the same thing scrolling through this comment section. People saying "men should be composed and not show emotion", does that include fits of rage aimed at a spouse or children that may harm them emotionally or physically? You shouldn't control your actions with your emotions but rather the other way around, the emotion comes first so it needs to be processed through an action. If you're angry, do something about it that is helpful to both yourself and others, don't use that emotion to take action on another, even if it is only verbal.

@@brianna4657 Yeah in my view while someone could want multiple partners, more often than not polygamy's biggest issue is both sides potentially not wanting it the same amount. So one side compromises for the other and that compromise builds up misery over the years. Even if both agree logically, unexpected jealousy and changing opinions of it can mess up the arrangement as well. Just a lot harder to get both sides on the same page and have enough communication for something like that to work.

Weird how Mr Locario, who perceives himself as a strong alpha male, felt to me like the "weakest" and most insecure one, especially with his body language. On the other hand, the quiet thinker Anthony showed us a lot of strength, power and self confidence, without the need of all that dominating BS. My absolute favorite. I also really loved Kevin, who put himself in the "alpha" male group (hate that wording) but was really emotionally intelligent.

a misconception about the so-called "alpha" group is that they lack emotional intelligence, I don't think that the word alpha was very appropriate in the making of this video title because the meaning of "alpha" has so many different contrasts I have no idea what it's supposed to mean. These men didn't act like the "toxic masculinity" stubborn and ignorant alphas you typically hear about online and I think Kevin fits just fine with those other dudes, whatever their title is.

I think there needs to be a distinction between “being attracted to” and “recognizing as attractive.” I can recognize someone as an attractive individual without being attracted to them. There’s so much emphasis on there being an interaction between those two phrases, but they’re very distinct and can differentiate the experience of whether someone wants to pursue a person or not.

@@arianaariel4197 Statistics show that women are the happiest with their life when they aren’t married/with kids. Men are the opposite, they are loneliest when they are single, not married/with kids. If men are designed to want multiple women then why do men whom have multiple women find it unfulfilling. People chase the things they believe will make them happy and at the end of the day ,connections and building genuine bonds is what makes people the happiest (To keep it short and to answer everyone ,Building Genuine bonds is what people chase, having sex with someone is fulfilling a small part in building a bond but that foundation is unstable and not worth building a house on Time , effort ,commitment and sacrifice is what goes into a long lasting bond take away one of these pillars the foundation is shaky )

In a way that says more about the women than it does the men who want multiple women. Or it points to the fact that it takes a while to properly find a mate that you have chemistry with, that you're compatible with, and attracted to overall. While also, you can be a man thats still uncovering new parts of his identity. So it could be bad timing on both sides. So, with that being said, you still could have multiple women by default. Yes, it may start with the initial desire, but it can go beyond that.
@TheMusicalPotatoes
Жыл бұрын
excellent question. It's because what they are talking about is confused with hedonism. Yes, men are designed to have the urge for multiple women, but a healthy way to apply it is for example: >in a 20year marriage husband stepped out 2 or 3 times in a one night stand with a waitress he doesn't remember the name of. Not a reason to break up the relationship, you know it was just physical, like pissing in a friend's toilet, life goes on. He did his thing and came back. >you haven't had sex in ages, fine if you don't feel like it, so he goes out and gets the physical urge out of him with a random girl, comes back, loves you the same, no issues. >dead sex life in relationship? You can reignite it with a threesome, because you understand it will be just physical, but you can excite him and he'll be willing to have more sex with you afterwards. You can even organize the threesome yourself to make sure it's just business from the 3rd person's end too. This is sometimes even suggested in relationship therapy, because you know...psychology literature has this male experience well documented and studied, regardless of how women feel about it Sleeping with tons of women and going all in on that urge however, is HEDONISM and that inherently ruins you mentally, that's where you lose out on love, pair bonding and ability to form meaningful relationships with your wife and kids. Hedonism will destroy a man and a family, but what I described above is something most people in the older generations did and it's what made their marriages last forever. Basically it's the difference between doing it a small handful of times in your life vs being the purpleshirt guy and having a wife, girlfriend and still sleeping around with others. There is a nuance
