You have a way with your words… your analogies… how you articulate hair through symbolism….I really enjoy watching your channel. Happy New Year!!!

Truest, it's a matter of one's mind state and how one deals w the attention 🤞 As well as the narratives that one chooses to entertain 💯 Best believe neck aches and tension will arise when focused on the negative attention,the negative narratives.

Yea that’s when I experience the heaviness is during the washing. I switched to just letting it go instead of the twisting and it was the most rejuvenating feeling ever. I always tell myself you should of been did this lol..Its been awhile now and I love it! ..You will definitely experience the looks, opinions, and more when it comes to not getting your hair twisted as society does see that as being more acceptable.

Your videos have more views than Gunther the great which I don't think is very great good like he's always trying to sell you something like you said on that one video physically and mentally trying to something for money instead of trying to say dreadlocks is just matted hair no matter separated or not and that all them other methods damage your hair worse than just letting it Matt it is not Pacific to any quote on quote hair type or species and even if aliens have hair have dreadlocks so keep doing what you doing keep spitting truth some people can feel that having squares on their head ain't right and having random but beautiful patterns like a snowflake

Is there anything you wish you could change about your locs? Do you ever feel insecure? Or do you feel fully accepting of your hair? Are there any negatives you can think of to having free form locs? Appreciate the content brother 🙏🏾
@JohnnyTheDred

Hmm. Maybe if they were more cylindrical. Ever feel insecure? Nah Any negatives? I guess a negative would be you have to deal with other people's opinions. I appreciate you watching

And I don't know how to really describe my hair other mixed people hair really like big curly when it's short which I are always had it short but now that I grew it out just like farther it goes down get smaller and curlier till dread balls sometimes and I'm so glad I found free-form Locs cuz if this didn't exist Still have big uncombed fro in one piece cuz I started off with twisties and I ain't going to lie I hated it but I knew I like dreadlocks besides and I always used to get yelled at my barber for not combing hair so so when I found out not combing my hair would make my own unique dreadlocks I was like holy s*** it's so obvious

My hair is matted as one. Like a mono dread. It’s growing fine and I only feel the weight when I’m in the shower giving it a wash, away from that I don’t feel my hair in a regular day... I ask myself why I don’t feel the weight of my hair it’s fascinating

You used to have three big dreads how did you get two of them now?
@JohnnyTheDred
Жыл бұрын
Just the natural matting of the hair, also it's largely aided by when I sleep on by back I move the single loc to one side and the two connected ones to the other so I won't be laying on them.

I separated my dreads since they formed now I'm trying to let Congo up and is kind of hard washing it without pulling webbing and s*** you got any tips
@JohnnyTheDred
2 жыл бұрын
If you want them to congo up then don't worry about if they pull apart when you wash. Just wash as usual, eventually the hairs will clump together, somewhere, naturally. Hope that helps

what do you do with your new growth, after having locks for over 20 something years, I still struggle. My locks were small in the beginning stages, over the years, I also stopped twisting. I try to not combine my new growth, but it rebels; and it untangles.
@JohnnyTheDred

Nothing, some of it eventually turns into another lock. That's how the two smaller ones on top formed.
