Love these snippet rolls, I've never made any, even though I'm a junk journaller. I'll check out your JJ January video. Love your fabric lacy journal, I'd be the same, just nice to look at, too nice to use.😂

That's a good idea about buying from car boots! I had to look that one up because I didn't know what you meant and my friend in the London area is already probably sleeping but I see that they are similar to what we would call a garage or yard sale here in the US. That's a great idea because I went to a Goodwill recently and the prices were too high for me to want to buy anything there. There's actually a yard sale at the campground my husband works at for the summer season and I'm looking forward to seeing what I might find.

I really should remember when I say car boots that my U.S viewers have no idea what us strange English people do lol. Yes just like a garage sale where people go and buy other people’s junk/ treasure 😁 oooh happy hunting I love the thrill of finding something I can use in my crafting 💖

I'm curious if you keep the strings or threads that you pull off of a fabric and use them for sewing? I just washed several of the fat quarters that I bought and they frayed and there were threads. I threw them away but I wonder if I should have saved them. I love your scrap can. When I was a kid, my mom had a button jar with all of the buttons that were saved over the years and I loved that button jar.

I keep all those yes, long pieces for stitching with, short for clusters and fillings, thicker threads I keep too to knot or couch onto pieces. 😁 and I have a button tin lol my mum had one too, my sister and I used to play with the buttons, sometimes for sorting into colours or just stringing them together 😁🩷
