Fasting is so good for our soul but also our body and spirit 🤲🏻 During Lent, I only drink water on Friday, Saturday, Ash Wednesday and Ember days. Otherwise I only eat once a day without meat, fat products (milk, cheese, yagourt, butter), sweets, sauces,… This helps so much 🙏🏻

He does!! He's telling us to prepare, prepare our souls, because we have gone so far as to boot God out of our lives! they're people who don't even know who God is anymore!! But he's telling us to prepare, because,God is going to re-introduce himself to us very soon,he's going to Remind us of who God is!! You say you're not Roman catholic, I would look into that as well because Christ did not establish 30 to 40,000 different denominations,he established one!! That one is the one holy Roman catholic and apostolic church! Jesus Christ still reigns as head of his church that did not change! No human being Will ever have salvation or see his kingdom outside of his church, according to Christ and our mother church! I pray that God lift The veils on those that do not know this anymore ,however,at one point everyone knew this! And we are soon to know this again!✝️⛪️🙏🏼

@@alakazoom87 throughout history, all faiths/religions have had "leaders" that have strayed, unfortunately, & yes, God will not allow that corruption in His kingdom. but that doesn't change what Jesus taught by words & deeds. & 1 thing He taught was that only our Father knows our hearts & we don't have authority to judge the hearts, only behavior. so we must beware of declaring others "saved" or "not saved", for God is always working on our hearts. I would like to share my experience about fasting here. I was raised in a Indonesian Catholic family where fasting during Lent is a normal practice. During my study period in Europe I somehow forgot to do fasting regularly due to businesses in life. These late years by the administration of Holy Spirit I am guided and reminded again, through books and Internet sites to do fasting. Honestly, I feel closer to God and I am able to feel His presence whenever I pray. Thank God Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

@@00417chisu Hi…. I sometimes forget that this is Catholic, religious doctrine. For those who practice the Catholic faith then ‘fasting’ as the church teaches, would be as you describe. Someone else made the comment about the necessity of ‘suffering’ with Jesus, it’s not about self improvement.?? I no longer practice the Catholic faith or any religion, but I am spiritual, which is awakening to the spirituality of life, especially within and of course on the outside. There is a deeper significance to Jesus….his life is like a metaphor for us all. The renewal of our minds and hearts as St Paul describes it. When you have the insight and experience that God is within us all ( true communion within the heart) and that we all are of the Christ Light/Being….it’s no longer about Jesus ( He is our mentor, teacher and helper in times of need and necessity) but rather it’s about our selves…the crucifixion of our own ego (and lower aspects of ourselves) and resurrecting our Spiritual self….our Divinity🙏💗…..our oneness with God. This is my unfolding, my journey and I speak it to others….The Christ Light/God is within you waiting to be recognized, discovered, acknowledged and brought forth…..Peace and Blessings 🙏😇🕊🤍💜❤️

@happydays310 understand that, not only is God preaching to the jews, he's also preaching to you and me. What makes you believe that you and I are Saved by Faith alone. That's a bit of heresy! Don't be fooled in this modern day belief. For example, Faith has a lot to do with it but don't think for a mere second that just because I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and I go and do a Mortal sin thinking that I'm going to be saved no matter what. Remember this, that the Devil himself believes Jesus Christ is True God, where do you think his destiny is in the near future?? Think about it! Why did Jesus tell his disciples that we need to do penance to be saved. Revelation 21:27 There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.

I believe St Catherine of Siena began to starve to death because her fasting, and her religious superiors told her to eat more. Still, a great video! Just wanted to throw that example out there.
