Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you in prayer to ask that you remember the covenant of marriage and ask that you lay your healing hands onto my wife's heart and ask that you would restore all that the enemy has stolen from our marriage and our relationship with you. Father I pray that you would soften her hardened heart and bring about a miraculous restoration of our marriage. Please heal Her heart from the mistakes I've made and let her see your restoration power in us individually and in our relationship. Please show her that you're changing me into the husband and father her and our children need. Lord I lift up my wife to you and I pray that you will forgive her sins and show her mercy. Father I pray that you would rain down your holy fire and destroy the bonds of the adulteress relationship my wife is in. I pray in Jesus's name that you would join our hearts back together as one flesh once again for your glory. I stand by my wife, our marriage and the vows I made to her before you. Lord I pray that you will relite the fire in her heart so that she will love me again and want to come home to our family. Lord I stand on your word, when you said 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? So they are no longer two but one flesh' Thank you father for hearing my prayer and to you give all the glory. In Christ Jesus's name I pray, Amen.

God told me I "negate" my own prayers by speaking negatively of my spouse. The negative talk and bitter talk cancels out my prayers for my husband's salvation.

Please pray for my marriage. We both suffer from C-PTSD, with opposite triggers, and we've been together for 30 years and things were not the best in the early years. Yes, I was a terrible husband for a long time but by the grace of God I have changed. Things are rough right now; she is deep in trigger and... I don't know what will happen. I want "us" to survive and restore though! Pray for us!

Yep! God is telling me to not mention anything my husband has done...the adultery....the neglect of our daughter.. nothing. He has said (this may be weird) that I sound like a rabid dog when I'm trying to get my husband to acknowledge his sins - as if God is saying "I'm trying to speak to him but he can't hear me over you."

This is an on time word. My husband was back and forth living in and then back out of the house. He technically divorced me but is home every night for dinner and with us (our two sons) on weekends. I have becoming resentful and feel he’s getting away with it all. I keep getting told put up boundaries. I’m weary and hope is drying up.

Use those times he’s in your home to show him unconditional honor and respect. Creat a safe atmosphere and he’ll want to be home for good. Don’t fall Into the enemy’s trap of being resentful. God is giving you an amazing opportunity as you share family time with your sons.

I so love your videos, Road To Restoration! This is the 8th one I've watched, today! And I'd been thinking/"feeling" (like Elijah!), "I'm the ONLY ONE!" who believes and is convicted Biblically and personally (for so many years) that we/I should, & can, "fight for" our spouses salvation, seeings the Holy Scriptures say we'd "become ONE flesh" (as well as all the Scriptures you'd shared, plus even more)... although, God knows, and experiences show, that there's a lot of wrong ways to attempt that, as well as a lot of right ways to do that. I so believe the Scripture gives us A (spiritual) POWER, though, above and beyond all other ways! My question here is this, though, concerning our "don't tell him how he'd wronged us": What about Matthew 18:15, "if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between he and thee alone..."?? I think there are kindhearted and positive ways to tell him, as well as lots of resentful and bitter ways to tell him, siding with the first. Why would it be wrong for us to share that info with our returned husbands?

@@flashlitestriker4028 That is a great question! I believe that our primary assignment when one spouse is “running away from god” is to bring peace and to “win them over without a word” by our conduct. Why would they want to return if they are just going to get scolded? They already know they are in the wrong and God is convicting them. We don’t need to tell them. From my personal experience anytime I’ve corrected my spouse it just causes him to get angry and run farther away. There may be a time and a season for that but it may not come from you. Pray that the lord sends the Nathan as he did with king David to correct your spouse. Your job is to love unconditionally and seek peace and have open arms. God will do the rest.

While he’s home use that time as an opportunity to honor and respect him unconditionally. While he’s away deepen your relationship with the lord and continue to work on yourself. This takes time.

@@roadtorestoration5371 I’m Trying to deal with the separation part. He’s been in the house consistently for 2 weeks now. He’s here but there no emotional aspect to the relationship. Basically there’s no type of intimacy, I miss our friendship and closeness to each other. It’s like we are roommates and my heart is hurting so bad. We’ve been married for 23 years this is all a shock to me. This has been going on for the past 7 months.
