I trap in cow pastures and they often drag the trap out of the bed like that until chain tightens enough to pull out. couldnt tell if your trap was fired or not

In regards to putting that trap on the back side after 2 back side diggings….. I’ve never put out 2 traps close enough that a catch could get a foot in 2 different traps. Not a big deal if that happens?

In some states it is not legal to do so make sure you can, but wait to see the next episode and then you can judge for yourself.

Do you use hay/straw sets? What do you think of them? I’m leaning toward setting a bunch of them to fight the frozen ground.

I will use them sometimes but so much of the land I trap on has cows, when I do use hay sets with cows on the land, they will eat the hay, or lay in it, so I would recommend using them on land with no livestock

@@trappingtheozarks23 thx yeah, there’s cows where I’m trapping but I only have permission in pastures next to them where they aren’t at but have been in the past
