I am in AZ. I have studied from India. I want to do CPA. I already done with NASBA evaluation, so I do not meet requirements of AZ but I do meet requirements of PA jurisdiction. Can I sit PA exam and transfer credits to AZ state? In order to transfer, does AZ state still need to meet requirements that are needed to sit in exam?

Hi, I'm interested in applying for CPA examinaitons in Arizona, I have a social security number too but I completed by bachelor's degree in India and it was a 3 year course. I also have completed 'Professional Education II' from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India'. Do you think I'm eligible to sit for the examinaitons?

B.com gives you 90 hours. CA finally gives you an additional of 30 hours in minimum. Iam not sure what the professional education II gives you.

@@cpaexcellence Thank your reply, The path to become a Chartered Accountant in India is a bit complicated, 1st you have to pass 'Professional Education - I' then you have to pass the 'Professional Education -II' and the 3rd stage is the 'Final' stage, only on passing all 3 will you become a licenced accountant in India. However, there are some differences, on completion of 12th grade, you can start by registering to the Professional Education - I course and pass all the 3 stages, but after 12th grade if you go on to do a bachelor's degree and then want to do CA then you can directly join 'Professional Education-II' (you dont have to do Professional Education-I if you have a bachelor's degree) The 'Final' stage is mandatory, there is no escaping that. So in this way, I have passed upto the Professional Education-II stage.

Arizona does not require a SSN. I have a few friends who are appearing from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy without SSN.

Thanks for sharing Fatema, for sitting for the exam-no SSN is required. However, for licensing purposes, you will have to report your SSN Number. Thanks for your comment.
